Bio:
Handsome “Xander” (named for Prince Alexander the Great) is a two and a half year old proud, affectionate male. Loyal, playful, and highly intelligent, Xander is the love of his human companion’s life. He will sleep and cuddle with you, talk to you, and always greet you at the door when you come home. He is a regal and independent cat, but has certain qualities that people find fun in a dog – he comes when he’s called, does tricks for treats, plays fetch, and goes for walks on a leash in our back yard (not the front yard – cars scare him). He loves heights, windows, bird-watching, climbing, and running through tunnels. He bonds lovingly with his companions and purrs contentedly in quiet, adult company. We are looking for the perfect adult companion(s) to enjoy him and give him all of the love he deserves. This is a very hard decision for us, as we are attached to him. Unfortunately, he is afraid of my fiancee’s children. He is unsettled and lets us know that he is unhappy whenever children are around. He makes a wonderful only child and he would probably be best as an only pet. He is happiest when he gets some significant attention each day. We are willing to do the adoption on a trial basis at first to make sure he and his new owner are happy together. If you want a cat you can give lots of love to and receive lots of love from in return, Xander is a rewarding pet. He is very easy to fall in love with and he returns the favor!
