indoors Arrival Story: I adopted Tubbs at the local Humane Soc. he was 1 1/2 years old. A year later Tubbs was involved in a hit and run accident that left his left front paw paralyzed. After months of Steroid shots he got feeling back except for the botton inch of his leg. Tubbs became and indoor cat after that and lived the next nearly 10 years as an indoor cat. Memorial Day 2004 Tubbs took ill,after rushing him to the clinic it was found he had diabetes and the rapid onset had cause irreversible kidney and liver damage.After 12 wonderful years I held Tubbs in my arms as he passed on to the Rainbow Bridge,lastly see my face and hearing my voice telling him how very much he was loved. Bio: I think Tubbs was the pet I had the longest in my life. I went many years after becoming an adult without the companionship and love that a furry friend gives you. Though it breaks my heart everytime I lose one , I would never trade the heartbreak for the precious memories and love all my pets have given me. I've Been On Catster Since:
