Birthday: January 12th 2007 Likes: Mao tags along w/ the dogs and would like to be allowed in the yard. Pet-Peeves: Mao does not like aggressive dogs. She just wants to be everyone's friend. indoors Arrival Story: Mao turned up on a clients doorstep (mom is a pet sitter). Client did the work and checked w/ the SPCA to see if Mao was microchipped. Yep, gotta chip. All 6 ( SIX!!!) phone numbers were disconnected but a neighbor told us that Mao, then named Sandy, was part of a large family and needed to be downsized :-( Original family took her to the SPCA but Mao was taken by someone else in the parking lot but then must have escaped. (Suspicious since there haven't been any lost notices for this prize kitty!) My client took her in (my client is great!!!) and I offered to foster her to see if she would work out w/ my 2 dogs and older, diabetic cat. Mao has been a great addition! The older cat, Bubba, has become more social and has put on weight lost due to the diabetes. She also joined the dog pack right away and still meets me at the door in the middle of the dogs.
