Arrival Story:
My ex-boyfriend found him in the gutter of a busy street, a little kitten hit by a car. He called me to help him as he blocked traffic with his car until I could get there. He safely got him out of the road and brought this little angel to the vet. It was determined that he was hit in the head and was blind. For 4 days he had no vision or sense of smell, but it came back... then he started having seizures. It was then that we figured out he has a portosystemic shunt, causing toxins to build up in his body. His prognosis is poor... but he is such a sweet and happy little bud. All he wants is to be held and smooched - something that I know I can do for him until his 9th little life is up.

Bio:
Odie went through the surgery to occlude the shunt, but the vet couldn't find it. They did discover, however, that SHE is actually a HE!!!! 7 vets saw him and none of us could tell! The anesthesia made him blind, but for the second time, he regained his sight! AND he is doing so well... he is happy and loving and playful! Angel Amelia's family lent us the money to make his surgery possible... Odie and I are eternally grateful for such wonderful catsters!
