Dear Catster,
I wanted to thank you firstly, for this site. I love it and love the people and cats we have met here. It's great.
But this week, we got some very distressing news. We heard our wonderful friends, that Tabbie's of Trout-town were leaving.

Now, you need to know, the Tabbies aren't just any cats to us. They are our friends. They have gotten us through some pretty rough stuff here, with the humans. And they have helped us and cheered us on via many cat illnesses, crisis, etc.

And you know why they are leaving? Well, for something that has been botherering me too, but I simply haven't had the energy to approach it with so many other things going on.

It's that your article focus has become pretty gross and sensational. The article that upset them was firstly, the one of the woman who composted her cat and kept his skull, and then, the video of that guy sending his cats body to heaven.

Guys, you need to know, this is distressing to many of us who really love and cherish our cats.

And that did it for them.

I would like the Tabbies to return, and maybe with them, other members who feel the site has changed, and not so much for the better.

As stated, I don't know the 'good old days' but would like to see articles written by catster moms and dads on food choices, traveling with cats, cat health care, rescue (a big thing with us!). I want to thank you for putting Ruffy's story in Confessionals...anything to shed light on FIV+ is a great thing. But please, no more gross stories that are pretty upsetting to us who love cats, k?

and though we know it's not in the nature of any publication/site to do this, I'd like to ask if you would please do something to bring the Tabbies back....they are such an important part of the Catster Community...in many ways, they espouse just what it is.

WeBees in agreement fur sure..WeBees needing those furtabulous tabbies back!

Catster is so precious to our furmily, it has become our furmily!

PS: To HQ: Pawlease send us the comments that others post, we are missing all of them...

Any others with this trouble...it started with that video stuff...ACK!

PS: Tabbies are no longer here, we cannot find them...sobbing...

So upset... Mom is working on trying to bring them back...but it might be a long time before their Mom even begins to change her mind.

She's furry upset.

We will be writing to hq today and posting in our diary. We demand that changes be made. We don't want to lose any more friends. We are so terribly sad. Come on guys, band together and lets try to fix this. You all know how this good this place once was.

Oh My
This is like a claw in the eye!
We are all very very upset at hearing this. The truth is we are busy busy most of the time and we do not spend much time in the parts of Catster other than our furends pages and our favorite Groups. Our Pops told us about what some "artist" did to their cats body. The cat had died but... Come on. I would hope that did not show up on catster.
Oh My.
We want the Tabbies BACK!

If anycat has their off of catster email send them the info that The TomCats love them and Miss them dearly!

Blizzard, you can't go. I mean, you can, but as stated, why? We must stand and say what we want, and don't.
While we purfectly understand their mom being upset....we are, too...there are many social aspects here that we love. We have a very loving and close community, and people have tried to create it other places, and it hasn't happened. Mom belonged to another place for awhile and it was gakky.

We love all of our friends here and we will remain here as long as there are any of our friends around at this rate it sounds like we might be losing more of our friends,. we sent our letter off sure hope they hear us ROAR over at HQ
