Arrival Story:
See, my human mommy has ordered a kitten from a litter when my cat-mother gave birth to five. When we were 6 weeks of age an old lady came to choose one of us. And I heard that she wanted a red tabby, but I liked her so much, that I climbed quickly onto her lap and made myself comfortable. She looked at me and said ''This will be my kitten''. But my cat-mother said that I am still too young to be weaned, and that my human mommy is to come and fetch me in 2 weeks time. Time came... My human mommy's daughter, working out of town, decided to fetch me herself and make a surprise for my mummy. I was calm. But... She had no basket and just held me and got me into the mouth of some monster. The monster roared and shook. I got so frightened that I started flying all over. Later I was told by my feline girl-pal who is 12 years old that these monsters are called cars and they are used by humans to get from one place to another. May be so, but I still don't like them. Anyhow, I got to my mommy's place in one piece and that's how I have become a guardian of my human mommy.

Bio:
So far I enjoy my life with my mommy. Not one night past without her sleeping with me. She watches me jumping all over the place and I am sharpening my claws on the carpet and armchairs, or anywhere else I like. And my mommy put a wooden log in the room just for me to enjoy and use. Later on I found a nice place for me to have a nap: it is inside a dot-matrix printer. My human sister says that it's okay - there is nothing to break there. I am a very loving person and my whole human family are totally crazy about me. I am rotten spoiled by all of them. I am a very lucky and happy kitten and I enjoy my life. My feline family now is quite big, so I heard. My cousins live with my mommy's other daughter, - there are whole five of them. They are all young cats, but I am the youngest of all.

Hi, everyfur!

We have a winner, who was the only one that guessed my clues correctly!
The winner is PIGEON!

What a smart kitty he is!
I know, I chose Egyptian Mau because I thought I'd be clever and everyone would be looking for something more complicated. Sorry 'bout that. I know, I'm a naughty kitty...

But Pigeon went and outsmarted me!
And here is his prize:

Russian Blue & Egyptian Mau

Now it's Pigeon's turn to make up his clues!
Welcome to the game, Pigeon and we'll be watching your diary for your clues.

Jack is not getting the better of me!

Hey, everyfur!!!

I know that I haven't said a word about this before.
But maybe it's the time I told you......

There is this BIG cat Jack that likes to come around MY place!
He thinks that it is HIS, but it's not - it's MINE!!!

I've got acquainted with Jack some while ago and he basically battered me in saying that this place of mine is his roaming property!!!

But guess again... It's not his. It's My property!!!

When I was a smallish kitten - I didn't stand a chance against this mighty tom-cat!
Jack is so - quite mighty. He also is a father of my two cousins Janie and Johnie!!! Fancy that!

But now no more of scaring me or any of my pals I choose.....
I am the only one who owns this place and it's mine by all rights. Jack never had rights to my place, he just came here to meet with some gals of his.

So, when I was a small kitten - he took advantage of me and even chased me and wounded me twice! That's how much he wanted to keep my grounds to himself!

I was taken to Vets and had to be treated and got my extra shots.
And let me tell you - I didn't like that. Once I ran so fast from Jack, so I collided with a metal door-frame and broke one of my claws on hind foot. The claw had to be cut off at the break-point, but it seems that it's re-growing now. I didn't like to be doped for an operation either.
Next time Jack bit me on my hind leg and I got infection. Vets gave me some antibiotics and I was walking in a bandage for couple of days!!! Though this time I fought with Jack and made his white short hair even shorter. My mommy and human sis had to clean my veranda from Jack's hair that evening... They said that the whole veranda looked like it was snowing in there...
But with bandage afterwards it was not comfortable and not nice. So, you can see how I didn't like any of that!!!
And, Jack is in for a big trouble from me if he attempts another attack!!!

But never mind... What is past - that's past...

See, I have here a play-pal. Her name is George (Georgina). She is a very nice old lady 13 years of age, and she teaches me lots of stuff. So, I sometimes share my food with her and the way we go, we just share with each other. And that's just great.

Jack likes her too, but she doesn't like him. She only likes me for a pal!!!

So, that's the way it goes - Jack is not coming here much longer, cos, see - I'm now growing stronger. I have taken after my whatever ancestors who were large. And I'm not even one year old, but a very large cat now, so Jack started to respect me and it seems that he now is not demanding my place to be his roaming grounds. George is happy 'bout that too, she just likes it peaceful and quiet. I protect her. She's my pal after all.

Just to show you some photos of George, who is a magnificent and beautiful cat lady (though spayed):

1. George making faces at me

2. My old pal George on my couch lazy to catch that fly next to her.

3. I & George having meaningful conversations

4. I'm sharing my space with my gal-pal George.

5. George and I are on our way to have some fun.

Okay that's that.
See if Jack comes again and what'll happen then, cos I kinda would like him for a pal too, cos see, I'm a friendly kitten.
If he'd not chase me or hurt me or George - we'd be pals for sure. I'd like more pals around.
I hope he'd change his mind 'bout me.

Purrs and nice meows to everyfur.

My Noun Hound Clues

I am one of furs, who guessed Ruby's clues.

I'm not saying what the correct guess was - you'll see that when Ruby posts it in her diary.

But I can go ahead with my set of Clues now.

**************************************************** **

MY CLUES ARE:

1. Our name consists of two words (being our make description), and we are very intelligent, elegant and full of grace mammals, and we look after our children very well - female and male alike.

2. Our ancestors came from mammals living in the Wild in Africa, and later we appeared in continental Europe before the 2nd World War, but after that war we almost ceased to exist.

3. Humans then made an attempt to re-make us in other continent, but those species are not the same as we are, and they should not be confused with us, cos their make is totally different to us.
Our true original species were saved by a Russian human, and we took off from there. And now we can be found in any Country of the World, but we are still quite rare.

4. The original make of us comes in three distinct colors: silver, bronze and smoke. And we are the only kind that have markings on our fur matching markings on our skin.

Okay - these are the four clues so far.
Have fun guessing.

*********************************************** ********

I will have my Clues open until the first correct guess is given.
If more kitties and doggies will guess correctly within 24 hours after the first - they all will be sharing the credit of first correct guess, because some furs live in different time zones and they should not be denied the chance to win if they know the answer.

If no-one guessed correctly - I'll add more clues, because rules say that you should give 4(four) or more clues to an animal, a place or a thing. So, I started with four.

I am inviting everyone to play, because it's a fun game. Who will have the credit of guessing correctly - they can put up their own clues for all of us to guess.

When you guessed correctly - we will be watching your diaries for your clues, cos we like this game.

Please send your guesses to me via paw-mail instead of comments to this entry, otherwise others can see the possible correct guess.

If you are up for this game - you're not limited to number of guesses. But you can only give me one guess at a time and I'll reply saying whether your guess is correct or if you should try and guess again.

There are no prizes of value in this game - so no-one should feel obliged to anything. We just like to guess your clever clues, when you put them up.

Good luck in guessing my set of clues.

Serik
