Anything I feed him! He is quite a pudgy little guy!

kneading Mommy' s Titties for more milk, and chasing the laser-light!

Arrival Story:
Uno's Mother was a semi~feral kitty, who had been dumped at the trailer park, where my sister lives, and had her first litter, under my sister's storage shed. Sister's boyfriend's dog killed two of the 3 week old babies, before they could stop her, and Sis adopted one of the remaining kittens, while the other two, and "Smudge" (the Mommy) were fostered by a neighbor. Smudge was then let back outside, where she again became a "statistic" (Unwed Teen Mother!) and she had her litter, before we were able to contain her, again. After a week, she brought Uno under the trailer, this time, where it was easily accessible, and I took it from where it was placed. We think there may have been one or two more kittens, but the mother did not seem too interested, in bringing any others to this location (perhaps, because this one suddenly "disappeared"???) So a neighbor and I caught Smudge, and placed her with the one kitten. She is currently being a "good Mommy", and taking care if it. ***UPDATE: There were 5 more kittens in this litter, and I rescued them all, and am currently "fostering" them*** ***UNO was the first kitten to open his eyes. He and I have "Bonded"; He "imprinted" on me, because I rescued him, I guess. He likes to be picked up and held.

Smudge became very stressed, when I put her and the kitten into a "larger" dog crate; she had been kept in this same container, with her previous litter, and may have had a "bad" experience, with the foster family, or perhaps the fact that my sister's boyfriend's dog(s) had been in this crate, since then, and it reeked of dog smell. I put her back into my own carrier which smelled like cats, and she immediately calmed~down, and began nursing the baby again. She had been FRANTIC before, even taking the kitten in her mouth, and attempting to take it out of the carrier. She literally worked herself into a "Lather", and it was not "good" for her emotional well~being. Talk about "Comfort~Zones" MOl!

Wow, there is a new kitty in our bathroom, and she looks a lot like me!
This is because she is my half-sister, we both have the same Mommy and Daddy, but from different litters.
Hannah Sioux (you can look up her profile by her unusual name) Is with us temporarily, because a family of mean raccoons has moved in under her Mommy and Daddy's home, and momma Carol and her Mommy Debbie feared that she might get hurt or injured, if their dogs attacked the raccoons.
So she is hiding under the bathroom sink, and Momma is keeping the door closed...She has lived most of her adult life under their trailer, with limited human contact, so this will be a chance for Momma Carol to interact with her, a little, and maybe for her to meet a few of us other kitties, also.
My Mommy, Smudge, sniffed at her, when she was in the carrier, and I think she may have remembered her smell...DO you think that could be "possible", after 3 years???

Uno The Great Mouser!

Yes, friends, I am at it again!
Actually, Junior helped me to catch this one, he caught it first, a couple of nights ago, then while we were both playing around, he dropped it and it ran behind a ox in the corner...
Then last night, the mouse decided it was "quiet", and tried to sneak out, and I caught it. I was having a lot of fun, playing with it, up on Momma's bed, which she didn't appreciate MOL!
She picked the mousie up by its tail; it was playing "dead", so I would leave it alone, and Momma tossed it out the door, and it immediately scurried away...
But...When Momma opened the door, one of the two feral kittens that Momma feeds each day, thought she was coming out to feed them, and he found the poor mousie, and pounced upon it. Momma says "I tried"...Oh well...
So now I will again go "on patrol" for more mice. The weather is getting cooler at night, and the mice are looking for the dry food that we all drop onto the floor... I lay in front of her nightstand and just "wait", they almost come right up and walk into my mouth!! Its just too easy!!!
