Quick Bio:
-purebred-pound cat

Birthday:
July 31st 2004

Coloration:
Blue Point

Likes:
Being carried around and sucking at a bathrobe she thinks is her mama. ::sigh:: The things we do for our pets. :o)

Pet-Peeves:
Having her ears or paws touched. Being disturbed by her very active little brother. Not getting her own way. She's very demanding. I've been accused of spoiling her.

Favorite Toy:
Little furry mice with leather tails (she chews the tails off and eats them as soon as she gets a new one). She would also devour ribbon if i let her.

Favorite Nap Spot:
A wicker basket that was *supposed* to be for blankets. Now it's a cat bed.

Favorite Food:
Nutro Natural Choice lamb flavor. She also loves whisker lickins' cat treats and races to the cupboard and meows for them every few hours. She's addicted.

Skills:
She plays fetch just like a dog, and she "talks" like a typical siamese. She has different meows for different moods. She only drinks out of the bathroom faucet. I suppose that's not really a skill. More like a bad character trait.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
Well, she was a birthday present from my husband. I *love* cats, and i wanted a kitten very badly (as evidenced by my incessant nagging to get one). We agreed we wanted to rescue one from the humane society, so we ventured out one Saturday to pick out a kitten. We saw her and immediately had to take her home with us! At her first vet appointment shortly thereafter, the vet suggested she could very well be a pure balinese (long-hair siamese). We wondered, but didn't pay much attention to her breed. Then, i switched vets, and he also independently confirmed that she's a traditional balinese. The humane society had told us she was found without a mother and had been bottle fed. So who knows! She does do the "wool sucking" thing where she gnaws and licks at certain types of material, like terry cloth and bath towels. She licked off all the material from my bathrobe before i discovered that this is bad for them. Now that's the only thing she's allowed to suck on, since there's no harm of her ingesting anything.
