Arrival Story:
I am a firm believer in pet adoption and rescue. I have worked for shelters for years and fostered many pets. But when I walked into a pet store a few years ago for some supplies, and saw this cage full of dirty kittens, I had to take a couple of them home. Ivan was one of them.

Bio:
I'm not sure if Ivan was ever traumatized before he came to us (other than that small, filthy cage), but he was such a shy boy. After many, many quiet moments, I finally made a friend! I am the only person in our household (of 5 people) that can get him to purr. He is still pretty shy with strangers, but loves his family here.
