indoors Arrival Story: My then 11-year-old daughter was walking home with a friend. As they passed the neighborhood church, a lady asked them if they knew of anyone who had lost a black kitten. They said no, but went into the church to look at her. She immediately called and asked if she could bring her home. She's been our ever since! Bio: Eliza was about five weeks old when my daughter brought her home. She was loaded with fleas; she was skinny and dehydrated. After an Ivory bath, she crawled up on the bed and nuzzled into the crook of my neck and purred her little self to sleep (and me!). And that's where she's been sleeping for most of the past nine years! She also had some strange cyst or something on her side that opened about five years ago. It looked like she had cut open her belly on a nail or something, but the docs said that it was some kind of cyst that we never saw or felt and it opened. After a couple of hours of surgery and over fifty stitches (and a completely shaved belly and side!), she came home to be treated like royalty.
