Leave A Comment | 24 people already have Oh my cats sap?!? I've been eyeing our tree thing but it doesn't seem to have sap. Is it off yet? That's going to be a lot of work getting the sap off all your feet - sorry dude! Hope the climb was fun at least! Um...I think I was one of the origainal Kringus Kats, MOL! I broke a Catmas tree by climbing into it just like you did, but then I decided it was a great napping spot! I broke the branch off...OMC! That was the last year of full sized trees! But I didn't get any sap on my tootsies, that was a artificial tree...evfur since then, meowmy has gotten small fiberoptic trees, and they mostly stay naked, too, except fur the tree topper cause we have been too caturios about them...afterall, all that small sparkly stuff is fun to knock down and spin around on the floor... So Pipo & Minko have to do without...sort of! Right now we have 3 small trees here, and bowls of the baubles...Minko likes to paw those onto the floor... Purrs! Meowmy says she thought she had a pic of me in the tree, but she cannot find it anywhere! Seems me and you have something in common this year. I've gotten in the tree too. Mom got a good chuckle out of the visual of you walking around shaking your paws with every step. MOL! MOL! That sap'll teach you not to get in the tree I guess. MOL! River, you didn't have to follow the example of the Simon's Cat video Mom posted on FaceBook a few days ago--sheesh! Mom hasn't gotten a tree in a few years--she says that Keshy, Samsara and Misha were pretty good about leaving it alone. It was a real tree, so I guess there must have been sap, but nobody effur told me about it. Pops has not had a tree in a few years but just might so we can have some fun climbing. He ties his to the wall or ceiling so we can swing and jump all we want. Careful if you put chemicals in the base water use on with a top or make a sturdy lid! We only have artificial trees...way before I was born my family had real ones, but they kept getting "duds" (bug infested, lost all the needles), so they gave up and went to artificial... I don't try to climb, but I do sit underneath and chew the lower branches! Nothing like flossing your teeth with pine needles! Even if they are fake! Our pawrents don't dare put a real Catmus tree up in our house ~ it wouldn't be upright for more than 5 minutes! Happy Meowlidays to you and your Family! Love, Luke All hail River for getting to be a DDP! I used to climb the inside of our old artificial tree, and even knocked the thing over with me still in it! Plus there was the pawing at the ornaments and breaking them. Finally Mom got wise and put artificial wreaths in between each layer of branches, so I couldn't climb up the middle. My successors--Minnie & Penny--aren't nearly as rascally as I was, but then Mom has a much smaller tree. It's small enough (about 4 feet tall) that she puts it up on a table and just wraps the whole thing with saran wrap between Christmases with decorations intact. Mom has less energy to decorate these days, so that makes it manageable. She used to be a Christmas maniac when it came to decorating, but she's being more careful energy-wise out of necessity these days. Again, concats on the DDP! Bliss Oh River, you should get an artificial tree! Then no sticky mess! We used to put our shiny tree up until I started knocking the ornaments off, and rolling them around on the floor and the shiny string covering on the ornaments totally unravelled and left just a very fun styrofoam ball to play with! Look out kitties, the Krings might have to throw down! hehehe! Hey Kringus...in the words of the human wrestler... just bring it!! I'n ready to rumble!!! (does his muhammad ali dance) I bet all our siblings would be really happy if we chose to wrestle with one another instead of them! hehehe! I KNOW sister would like it! If that's the mythology, we don't have a choice do we Kringle? WE MUST DO BATTLE!!! hehehehe! (I'm pretty sure Kringle HAS to win though, otherwise, there might not be a Christmas!)
