Contradiction of kitty terms...

Hello kitties,

I've got a pondering to put forth to all of you. You've all ready some of my previous thoughts on funny words humans say and on important issues so I've got a new one for you. It's a real head scratcher too!

Mommy is always telling me that I'm her 'favorite' kitty in the whole wide world. She is also always telling me that I'm the 'best' kitty in the whole wide world. I don't have too many problems believing this, my mommy wouldn't lie to me!

Here's the thing though...
She ALSO is always saying that sister is her 'favorite' kitty in the whole wide world and that sister is the 'best' kitty in the whole wide world.

hmmmmmmmmm how can that be? Can't there only be one favorite kitty and one best kitty?

Well, she remedied this when she started saying that we are BOTH her 'favorite' kitties in the whole wide world and that she has the 'best' KITTIES in the whole wide world. I like that idea, that makes me and sister BOTH the best! No more contradictions of terms! hehehe!

Then I got my little River brain to thinking... aren't there other mommies out there telling other kitties that they are the best? I mean, all mommies can have their own favorite kitties in the whole wide world, but how many 'best' kitties can there be in the whole wide world? Don't all of your mommies and daddies tell you kitties you are the best?

How can this be? It's a real thinker I tell you! I want to know how many kitties are the 'best' cause I'm real confused on this point.

So kitties, how many of you are 'the best' and how many kitties do you think can be 'the best'? I'm starting to think that kitties are just the best, regardless of anything else. So all kitties are the best kitties! hehehe!

Despite it all though, I know that sister is my favorite kitty in the whole wide world! I'm going to go snuggle on top of her in the sun right now! I hope she doesn't get cranky and bop me on the head! hehehe! I just loves her so much!

No...Dad doesn't use the words "favorite" or "best" about us...He throws about the words "good" or "bad" or "you're a goofball" or "don't do that,@#$%* it!"...as long as he keeps the food coming in,I suppose he has his uses.....

Mom usually says I'm her best girl, then she tells Beepers he's her best boy!

But she also tells me I'm the bestest little girl there could be! So now you have me confused, too, River. How can Simone be the best and I'm the best, too? Maybe I'm still under the anesthesia from my cleaning today... I can't figure that out.

Mom says I'm her favorite,,,but I'ver heard her say that about the others too. Now she says I am her favorite grey cat because the rest of the family is orange-ish. How can there be more than one favorite? I'm gonna be up all night pondering this! Purrs, Skylar

Oh River I am the best calico girl girl in the world, Little boy is the best tux kitty in the world, moemoe is the best "tiny mighty moe" in the world, tiny is the best "tinister" in the world, booboo is the best "boo" in the world, you see where we are going? I think we are all the best kitties in the whole world to our moms and dads. Tigger you better set your dad straight, my dad tries that *^&*#$$# nonsense and mom puts stop to it. MOl

My mom says I am the softest kitty in the whole wide world And I am the best napping buddy.I think favorites change around here. The days I pee on the sun porch I can tell I am not the favorite 0: Aren't mommies and daddys funny?
