Hi ho kitties everywhere!
As I'm sure many of you read in sister's diary recently, we had to go to the vets. I didn't actually have to go, but I went anyways. Somebody has to protect sister. They once brought her to the vet, and didn't bring her back till 2 days later. I can't let that happen again. I have to stay with her. Turns out it was a bit of a mistake because since I was there, they gave me a physical too and gave me my shots. OUCH! The good news though? I'm perfect! My coat is beautiful, I haven't lost any weight or gained any, I have plenty of fluids, my teeth only have minor build up on them, not even enough to warrant a cleaning, my ears are clean, my heart and insides sound good. I'm in great shape. TAKE THAT FIV!
So let's see what else is going on. Mommy got a subscription to Cat Fancy. Sister and I are pretty pleased about that. She should make sure she has the best infos about us! We are very important. I know that sister is leading the charge to get mommy to watch more kitty movies and stuff, so this is a good start.
On a completely unrelated note... We are a little concerned with our mommy though, she recently decided to take up boxing. Her gym back still smells super stinky and I love that, but I don't know how I feel about mommy punching things and getting punched back. She's a mommy! I attack her boxing gloves whenever I get the chance, hoping I can change her mind about this. I blame it on this Stallone guy whose movies she kept watching that Simone didn't like. Want to know what cinched the deal? Mommy read this article about him and decided he was a good guy, it's about a puppy! She just wants to share it with everyone, I don't know why...
Just so you all know, sister still says she hates the boom boom movies. Loving dogs doesn't redeem them.

I am so glad you are doing great! I don't like the boom boom movies either! Mommie says she bets your Mommie is having fun boxing!
Hugz and purrs, Sassy
Yeah River! I am so glad you are doing well despite having FIV. My dear brother Buddy had FIV. He lived just fine with it for at least 14 years that we know of (he was a stray so Mom and Dad never knew exactly how old he was when they took him in.) The worst thing that came of it was his gums/teeth. Mom and Dad got him regular dentals and he was fine. Buddy was 18+ when he crossed the Bridge from cancer that was unrelated to his FIV according to his vet.
Glad that the vet visit was good! That's what we like to hear!!
Pipo and Minko
Pawsome to hear that you're in great health! Yeah, take that FIV!! I bet boxing is a good way for mommies to relieve some stress - punch the heck out of their frustrations! Good exercise, too...Maybe it was those crazy boom boom movies that made your mommy want to box! Have a good weekend...
Glad to hear you're doing good!
Hey, River, it is so good to get news these days. You keep up the good work and keep showing that old FIV who the boss is!
