I've had a lot of energy recently. All I want to do is run and play and jump and play and knock things over and play. It's been great fun. Sister doesn't like it so much though. She is not a big player, she prefers to sun her belly by an open window. Mommy keep saying she is going to adopt a playmate for me but we never seem to find the right one. She was THIS close to adopting Jubilee when we fostered him. We got along pretty well and he was only here a short time. She wasn't sure though so she brought him to the adoption event like she does every weekend with them. She was certain with so many kittens he wouldn't find a home and she'd have another week to decide. Well, wouldn't you know it, he was adopted within the hour! Guess he won't be my new brother. Someday I'll have a playmate. She has found a kitty online named Ziggy who is also FIV positive at the rescue group she found me at. He has been there awhile and is suppose to be a big playful ball of love, she is thinking of driving out and getting him. Wouldn't that be great? I think it would be. Sister is on the fence about it.
Leave A Comment | 3 people already have We started out as foster kitties! Mom had the same experience of fostering kittens that she was sure she wanted to keep, and having them get adopted. Mom always said that sooner or later there would be a kitten that could not find a home and would need her~ she ended up with us! xoxoxo Tasha River, that is furry exciting that your family is growing! Our Meowmy believes that the right cat always finds you. We cats are good at that. Tully and I were in foster care until we were 7 months old. The rescue group was getting discouraged because all the young kittens were getting adopted and we were becoming bigger and bigger. Then Mommy came along...she couldn't believe we had not been adopted because we are such beautiful and sweet cats. But guess what? We were just waiting for her to find us! We know the purrfect playmate is out there for you and you will know it when you find him/her! Love, Luke Thanks guys. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE my sister. Love her to pieces and am super bonded to her. I am her brother and her protector. I don't even let mommy take sister to the vets without hopping in her carrier to come along! But, when all is said and done, I'd still love to have a playmate with more energy like me! Sister is so sleepy. Sometimes we play, but she usually gets mad at me and storms off if I get too rough. I just love playing and am so big I don't know my own strength! I sure hope one day mommy and daddy find the right third kitty for our family! |
