Ok kitties, I've got a bone to pick with all of you about my mommy.
Now, I bring my mommy constant love, and joy, and companionship, and snuggles, and warms, and meezer MRATS, I mean - I'm pretty awesome, don't you think so?
Anyways, How does mommy reward my awesomeness? She gets me a new cat carrier for my gotcha day. Um... hello? A cat carrier? I mean, sure this one is really big and super comfy and my old one was a little cramped for me but still, a cat carrier? What am I? I totally deserve something more than that, something better, something super awesome pawsome don't you think? Sheesh. Mommies!
Thank you to all my awesome friends though who sent me presents, I'll be sending you all thank you notes (I hope) soon, we just got so much love! I'm overwhelmed! (Not by you mommy, I'm still underwhelmed by you!)
5 years ago I saw mommy walk into the shelter I was at. I had only been there a few days, I was in foster care but my foster mommy was away on vacation so I had to go back to the shelter for a little while. I took one look at mommy and I said to myself... "oh yeah, she's the one for me!" I followed her around and mratted at her until she picked me up, it was love at first snuggle!
I was a bony little thing back then, I weighed under 6 pounds and was all kinds of undernourished and sad looking, but mommy so the beauty in me and she never put me down. I guess after 5 years of spoiling I can live with just a new cat carrier as a present, I mean, it's all right. I'm on her lap right now purring up a storm so I guess I'm not THAT mad at her about this, but still... how about some cat treats mommy?

MOL, MOL! When you mrouwed about picking a bone, we thought you were going to say something about all dem skelli bones, MOL!
Sheesh a carrier, MRAT is right!
Carriers are only used fur things we mostly dislike...
Well, maybe it was needed, but still...it should have been filled with nip and treats and soft nesting materials!
Happy late Gotcha Day...Happy belated Birthday...though we mewed that to you yesterday, too...tee-hee!
I know right? I mean, yes, I needed a new carrier, it is much comfier and much bigger, and if you HAVE to go somewhere unpleasant it'd be better to do it in comfort and style... but still... carriers aren't presents no matter how much nicer they are! I demand NOM NOMS!
TREATS, TUNA, LOVE, SUNSHINE, SNUGGLES, AND a warm blankie, wif da special Mama!!! Dat's all a girl needs on a regular basis!! Is dat too much to ask? No I tells you, it's not too much to ask. We are after all, the delicate, diva, nose swatting (in Buddy's case, MOL) little princess'. We deserve what we deserve!! I'm wif ya honey!!! After all, you had my back in the River & Keisha fun tickle tackle!!!! Wubbs ya girl fur-iend!!
Tell your mommy getting a cat carrier for your birthday is like her getting a vacuum cleaner for hers. Humph!I hope you got treats too!
Have your mommy make you a nice comfy pad to go inside the carrier so you can hang out in there when her lap's not available. It's nice to have your own private space. I even have a heating pad in mine in the winter -- I sleep in there a lot. Then, MOST IMPORTANTLY, she must keep it well stocked with treats!
Uh-uh nope not an acceptable gift unless it was filled with play toys!
Well I don't blame you for being "underwhelmed" by mommy I would be too!!! What she needs to do to make it up to you is get a brand spanking new Cat Tree House.....I've been looking on your behalf Simone.....I have found some pretty cool ones that you would luv.......
Hmmm, that's not a bad idea Ashlynne! I do love me a heating pad. We've got a really big one on the ottoman that River and I share but that sometimes leads to a smacky paw situation in the making, my own personal warm spot would be excellent. At least my carrier is now as big as River's. Although, wouldn't you know it, he's all ready jumped in my carrier and snoozed in it. Jerk. That's my stupid gift! MRAT!
A new cat carrier is like buying a vacuum cleaner off a wife. Just rude. And River is being rude to but honestly he is the inspector over there.
A new cat carrier is like buying a vacuum cleaner off a wife. Just rude. And River is being rude to but he is the inspector there, after all.
MOL! Zachery, I was ready to type the same thing you just said! That is too funny! I was going to say a vacuum cleaner for Mother's Day. I new carrier is nice, but I agree how about some blankets and treats and toys too.
Well - maybe she could bedazzle it for you? Us gals do like the sparklies!
NOT an acceptable present, Simone. Birthday presents are things that you can play with or eat or that make you purr when you lay on them. Tell your Mom to try again.
A cat carrier? What is your Mom thinking??????
We're soo sorry we missed your special day. Sending you lots of love!
At least you got something....mommy and daddy forget 'our' days here all the time. They say we are so spoiled and get food and litter and toys that every day is our day and we should get over it. At least you got a new carrier!
Hmmm I've tallied up the votes and the results are in... MOMMY!! I NEED MORE PRESENTS!
Ruffy, that is just awful, awful lazy horrible parenting right there. I know your mommy and daddy are awesome in all other ways, but what's with our parents dropping the ball on the special presents for special days? Do we not fill their lives with enough joy and love? I think we DESERVE presents, in fact, we DESERVE MORE special days! Many more! Dozens more! BRING ON THE PRESENTS!!!
MOL Simone! Two can play at that game you know. Wait until Christmas or Valentines Day or her Birthday--or all three, and be a "little birdie" that tells a human "little birdie" that she really wants some enzymatic cleaner. Then give her the hairball to go with it!
Some of my hairballs are works of art.
