Hi kitties!!!

Well, first off, I want to assure the kitties who won door prizes and kitty congeniality prizes, they are being mailed tomorrow! HOORAY! They are all sewn and sitting on the buffer in the dinning room. River tried to steal one of them before it was done! hehehe, he ran off with it in his mouth, it was so funny! Mommy chased him down to get it back, so one of them will probably smell like River, sorry about that kitties! Mommy meant to mail them last week but stuff got out of control around here. Today mommy had her first graduate exam for her Masters. She was all loopy when she got home, it was a lot of work and she was very tired. Last night, she had a nightmare about it, I had to wake her up by bopping her on the nose with my little paw, I didn't want her to roll over on me! Sheesh mommy, there's a Moe Moe sleeping here, let's stop it with those nightmares!

So the super duper presents we got this weekend? They were fantastic! Petsmart was having a really big sale and there were bins and bins of stuff they were selling off really cheap, mommy and daddy found TWO brand new water fountains for us. You don't even want to KNOW how many of those things we have in this house but suffice to say River and I barely ever have to go very far for fresh running water. I think that's the way it should be! These are some pretty neat fountains too, I'm pretty impressed. I would have liked more toys from the store but hey, a girls gotta take what a girl can get! hehehe! Water fountains are expensive too so who knows when we would have gotten new ones if they hadn't found these!

The last thing I want to tell you is that mommy thinks we've taken pity on our new orange and white stray kitty who comes here for nom noms. Recently we've only been eating half of our wet food and then demanding fresh food. Mommy gets so sick of arguing with us that she puts the old food out for the stray and then gets us new food! Every morning the wet food bowl is licked clean! This works out great for all of us, the stray is getting super healthy nom noms that are extra tasty and River and I get fresh food more often! hehehe! I recommend you kitties try the technique! The nom noms aren't even being wasted! hehehe! We're just being nice kitties and sharing with those less fortunate then ourselves, we aren't spoiled! Oh no we aren't! hehehe!

Yippee!! How cool! New water fountains and fresh wet food at all times! Sounds like a great deal for all involved!! And you are nice kitties!

Awwww you are so sweet to share. MoeMoe way to go waking her up to save yourself Hehehehahah and of course to save her from her nightmare. WE are so furry excited I am watching the mailbox as i wanna be the first kitty to get to the heart. I hope your mom did well.

Dad always gives our leftovers to the strays. The other day,none of us ate the food in Cali's bowl,so Dad put it in the bowl outside. Neither Mouse or Bent Ear would eat it,not even the possum would eat it! I wonder if something was wrong with it?
As for spoiled,when Sobe was a stray,he would eat anything you gave him. Now he won't eat his dinner half the time,& eats from Tigger or Cali's bowls. In less than a year,he's become a picky spoiled house cat.

Let me warn you about front porch visitors. They end up coming in the garage, then they move to the laundry room, and before you know it, they are drinking out of your new water fountains. I've seen it happen, I'm just telling you!

Oh you guys are being really nice kitties. Samoa is right though, sometimes you end up with new sibs that way. How cool to get new stuff? We love getting new stuff. We even like getting boxes from BJ's. Sometimes thats all we get but it is still stuff. Getting stuff(any stuff) is cool!!Glad you got new stuff!

Samoa knows what she's talking about. That is exactly how we ended up with Merlin, he was a stray kitty from out of nowhere, and look at him now.......
Can't wait for the goodies to get here. Your Mom & Dad are such nice guys to go to all that trouble everyone!!!

when we lived at our former house. mom used to feed feral cats. all the cat food we didnt like went to the ferals. mom put out food and water for them everynight.

Don't know yet Sarge. We had a big gray stray who use to come around, we don't see him much anymore. We're hoping he just found another take out service though. This new guy sits and talks with us through the window sometimes, so maybe someday he'll be brave enough to let mommy go out and pet him and then we'll work our way through the process. Mommy doesn't like to force them coming inside in case they are feral. This one does seem awfully friendly though, it certainly wouldn't be the first time she's pulled them in off the streets and rescued them. She picked up Lili from the ground and nursed her back to health before adopting her out. As far as I'm concerned though... keep them outside! ick, other kitties in MY house! hehehe!
