You know what is really great? Having mommy home. I missed her so much. I handle her leaving pretty well, but man was I happy to get her back. I've been snuggled with her every night under the blankets. I've also been a super chatty girl recently. I follow mommy around talking to her. Mommy can't believe how talky I am. I just follow her around the house going "mrat mreow, mrow, meow, mrat, mraaaaaaaat, purrrrrrrrrr".

Turns out we are becoming a regular stop for hungry 'nom nomers' as mommy now calls them. We have several regular kitty visitors. Some of them are strays who mommy plans to catch and spay / neuter. Perhaps adopting them out, or perhaps returning them if they are feral kitties. Some of them though, don't look like strays. They have collars and tags, but they eat more than the strays. There is a little black one with a tag who shows up every night and devours the food and then just hangs out in our doorway all night. Mommy doesn't know what's up with him but if he has a home, he doesn't seem to get enough to eat there. He's all skin and bones and he doesn't seem to like leaving our home. She's hoping he's just a fussy kitty who likes our house more and isn't being mistreated or underfed where ever he lives. He's so tiny and always so hungry. Mommy was thinking if he keeps showing up like that she may try calling his tag number or checking lost pet ads to see if he is lost from his home. The other kitties with tags who show up to steal noms aren't anywhere near as hungry or tiny, but mommy enjoys their company as well!

I am more chatty with my Mommie lately, I use to not hardly utter a sound. But now I am much more meowy!! So nice of your Mommy to feeding those kitties. We have one that comes to see us almost every week, seems like she is starving, and she has a collar on so we believe she belongs to somebody and a few others kitties that stop by they are scared of anything and everything and they are always hungry too, so we leave some food out for them, but we don't see them often!

So happy you have your mommy back home and you get to snuggle with her. That's wonderful of her to feed all those 'nom nomers' that come by. Hope they have homes and weren't just left behind. We have a sweet black kitty that comes by to eat and sleep. Mommy calls him 'Double Dipper' cuz she thinks he stops by for the extra food and love. Keep us posted!

Oh SIMONE! Ur mommy iz a gweat mom! I no's wat u means, I finks all of our mommy's r sush devoted kitty lubbers! I no dare's a kitty mom feeds efury day mornin' an' night dat lives on our patio! Hiz name iz BugerBear. He's feral, but let's mom pet him only! In our apts live's 4 single ladies, like mom dat r sincere kitty lubbers an' keeps foodage outside fur dem all! We haz lot's uv moochers! MOL! I'z so vewy gwad ur mommy iz home, gibin' u lot's of snuggles! I not mrwow meow mush, but den I dun't haz too! I got's eyes dat speak! MOL! I does get on a roll wen I see's birdies! I gurggle lots! MOL! I does hope ur black kitty furiend haz a home, but if not, he no's ware he iz loved! Gweat diary, ma furiend! Love's u lots!

You do have your hands full of kitties, outside and inside!
One of meowmy's kitties, probably Simba and perhaps Toki, too who are angels, now used to have all these stories and scoldings to discuss whenever meowmy came back even from a day at work...Should have heard it when the whole furmily had been gone!

I bet you just missed mommy when she was gone and have just lots to tell her about. Such as I Love That you Are Home, I thought You were Never Coming Back, etc!

That is a good idea to call if the black kitty has a number on his tag. Or look for "Lost" signs. Very good idea.

We have a black cat visitor too, in the back yard, which hangs around but runs (like I did back in 1994 when I was found) when called.
