Arrival Story:
Bartleby had a very tough life on the streets before a good Samaritan brought him into the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA, where he is expectantly hoping to find a foster or adoptive family.

Bio:
Bartleby may not be the most handsome cat at the shelter, but he more than makes up for it with his abundance of personality. He loves to be the center of attention and will do any number of goofy things to get your attention. Bartleby loves to talk and has lots of different chirps and meows to express himself. He spends most of his time laying down with his paws sticking out of his cage, talking to everyone who passes by. Outside of his cage, Bartleby chases feather toys with gusto and loves to rub against people. He also loves to be petted and to play a game we call London Bridges, where someone sits on the floor with their knees up in an arch and Bartleby walks back and forth through them, so that he can be petted on both sides at once. Its a pretty funny sight to see. Bartleby can be a little bossy with other cats, but would probably do well in a home with kids or dogs since he is very friendly and completely fearless. Bartleby is FIV+ so he needs to go to an indoor only home, but with the proper care he should live a long healthy life. He is also a little bossy with other cats, but could go to a home with other cats as long as they're willing to put up with his boisterous antics. He'd be great in a home with dogs or kids. If you're interested in fostering or adopting this big fuzzy goofball you can stop by the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA, call them, paw mail me, or email me at kellbell1919 at gmail.com.
