Arrival Story:
In the spring we found out that our beloved Suki was very sick and would be crossing the Rainbow Bridge soon. My husband, Thai Pie and I were going to be heartbroken to lose her. I started looking for a chocolate point little girl like Sooks. Luckily we found Misu who was going to be available in October. She is distant relative of Sooks but more closely related to Thai Pie. She comes from Geishagoll cattery in Salt Lake City. I knew her breeder, Connie Goller, and was very confident that Misu would be just the right kitten to be Thai Pie's new sister. She is a wonderful addition to our family.

Bio:
Misu is an absolute delight. She is cute, cuddly and so very loving. She loves to snuggle under my chin and purr. She has been very well socialized by Connie and already rides in the car in her carrier with no problem. We chose the name Tiramisu because of her chocolate and cream color. The name in Italian translates to 'pick-me-up' as in raising your mood, she certainly does that but she also takes it literally and begs to be picked up and carried around with me. She is a total love bug. Misu has now made many car trip to Arizona, California and now even to Vegas. She has been a real trooper. She never batted an eyelash at anything or anyplace. She settles down in the carrier with Thai and goes to sleep. When we get there she eats first, uses her litter box has a look around and then jumps on the bed and relaxes. She and Thai get along very well except for the 'tail issue' Thai is very particular about her tail and Misu loves to play with it !!

1. Do you ever wake your parent up in the night?

Thai and I sleep in our heated cat bed in the utility room. When we travel we sleep with mum and dad and squabble over who sleeps where. That is probably why we usually sleep in the utility room!!! Mum gets up at 5am and lets us in the bedroom for snuggle time while she drinks her coffee and watches the news.

2. Do you ever tear up things?

Well, I did try and tear up dad's newspaper while he was reading it. But that got his attention which is what I wanted. What do those humans find so interesting in papers?

3. What is your favorite treat?

Thai and I are not interested in people food, we like our constant supply of dry food but at 5 pm when mum says "Wanna eat" we meow loud and strong for our Fancy Feast.

4. Can you fetch something when asked to do so?

Sometimes I bring mum things that I want her to throw for me but Thai is more of a retriever than I am.

5. Have you ever lived any place other than where you live now?

I was born in the Salt Lake City 'burbs. I lived there with my brothers, sisters and both my feline pawrents. Suddenly when I was about 15 weeks old my other mum put a little pink sweater on me and put me in a cosy carrier and took me to the airport. I didn't know what to think. After a couple of hours they said I was in Portland and carried me off the plane and gave me to my new mum. After my mum's friend fed me Gerber's chicken in the car, I decided that things were going to be okay. Then I met Thai Pie and that's another story.

Hi everyone, I haven't written in my diary for so long - I have just been so busy playing and chatting with all my friends. However, I recently heard news about my litter sister Ibarra. She and I were very good pals way back when we were little white cotton balls together. Well, while I have been just goofy around on Catster having fun, Ibarra has been strutting her stuff at the CFA cat shows. She just made Grand Champion - Best Siamese. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her official photo from Chanan. I have put it on my page, with her permission of course. She's a big deal now and I remember when we would pounce roll, tumble and rabbit kick together when we were kittens. I bet she would still enjoy a good game of pounce and chase with me though MOL

Grand Champion Geishagoll Ibarra - Yay, you go girl !!!!!

Well I was tagged by Felix and Little Bit for two different things. I will try and do both in one entry. Here goes for Felix:

1. What is the color of your collar?
It's blue with 'diamonds' on it but I have to get a little bigger so it fits

2. What kind of food do you eat?
Fancy Feast canned in the evening and Iams dry during the day. Recently mum had a free bag of Royal Canin and now Thai and I are hooked on that.

3. What are your favorite treats?
Just getting lots of love and attention

4. Do you have a Valentine or a significant other?
I love everyone. I am the furiendliest kitten ever.

5. Do you get table scraps?
Well I do like the occasional can of tuna.

6. What is your favorite toy?
It's no contest - it's Thai Pie !!!!

7. When is your birthday?
May 18th 2009.

8. How many times a day do you eat?
I eat my Iams kitten dry all day long and then eat Fancy Feast in the evening.

9. Do you have a favorite color?
Blue. Like my eyes

10. Do you hope all your pals put this in their diary?
I hope so, but some furs won;t have time.

Now for Little Bit 5 things I am thankful for.

1. Mum and dad loved Sooks so much that they wanted another meezer just like her. Out of all the kittens they picked me. I am so honored.

2. I am thankful for loving parents and my sisfur Thai Pie who all teach me how to grow into a happy, well adjusted adult meezer.

3 I am thankful for all the wonderful furiends I have at Catster and the warm welcome I received from them all.

4. I am thankful that mum took me to meet Ms Lyn and I got to nibble on flat Alfie's ear and give Ms Lyn a kiss on her nose. That was fun.

5. I am thankful that mum got me very accustomed to riding in the car in my carrier so that I could travel with them to Arizona and then Palm Springs with the rest of the family for Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving everyone !!!
