Arrival Story:
Well.... saw Miss Salem at PetSmart on a Saturday when a shelter was there with cats up for adpotion. She was SUCH a neat cat... silky soft and very affectionate. I was only there to buy food - no way did I want to be a 3-cat household. So I left with just the food. Couldn't stop thinking about her though and just had a feeling like I was meant to have her. So, 3 days after I saw her, I called PetSmart to find out which shelter had been there with adoptable kitties on Saturday. They told me, I called them & found out Salem was still there, and I went and picked her up. The shelter was really neat - a single family house in the woods near the stadium in Ft Myers full of animals and several volunteers there taking care of them.
