My first summer

so far so good!

Tippy has been free to roam the house for a couple weeks now. We have a multi-leveled home with attached garage and basement. He's checked out just about every corner, nick and cranny and has been very good and calm and never pottied out side of his cat pan!!
My dogs have accepted Tippy faster than the cats. SmartyCat still growls at Tip alot, but every once in awhile you can catch her trying to snuggle up to him. Cookie is so easy going... she could careless!

I do believe things are getting back to normal!

Meeting the dogs..

Tippy's been in a crate, in the (heated) garage for a couple days now. I use the crate to keep him safe from any possible "get the kitty" attempts and, because I have Boston Terriers and Tippy has his claws, i'm afraid Tippy may snag a "bugeye" or two.

Today, Oct 16th, we opened the crate door!
It went GREAT. All Tippy wants is to LOVE on the Bostons! My oldest Boston, he's about 9 yrs old, he could have cared less about Tippy, much more interested in what was in Tippy's bowl! Tippy let Boston eat all of his food.
Miley, my 1 yr old Boston was suprisingly scared of Tippy. But still, everything went well.

Tonight...we are all coming in the house... like it or not Smarty Cat!!

After being caged for just over 2 wks, I'm taking Tippy home tonight. I am completely amazed by how fast he has went from a feral "wanna luv ya but scared" to a totally gentle and loving little boy.

I hope he can handle this, I know he wants to live in the house!
