Arrival Story:
Prior to being picked up by the shelter, Carmine was dropped on the sidewalk along with a brother and sister. All three were adopted on July 5, 2008. He had ringworm, ear mites, all kinds of digestive worms .... but was brought back to health. I went to the mobile rescue truck to look at a cat. Carmine worked to get my attention and purred so loud my ear that I had to take him. And then walking home, he was thrashing so violently in the box I dropped it. I felt terrible about that!
