Leave a treat for Kawasaki

Nicknames: Saki, Sme-ooo-wicky, Tinky-Tinky

Quick Bio:
 Birthday: July 9th 1994
 Coloration: Flame Point

Likes: Nursing off of other animals, rough petting, canned food, getting brushed, cuddling with other cats

Pet-Peeves: LIAM - and that's about it. Saki likes our other two dogs, but HAS NOT fogiven us for bringing Liam home. He lets Liam know every day that he HATES him. We're not quite sure why there's such a dislike

Favorite Toy: Furry mice and catnip - Saki doesn't play all that much

Favorite Nap Spot: On the top of the cat tree

Favorite Food: Wet canned food - which his mom doesn't like him to have because it's bad for his teeth, but his grandma gives it to him anyway

Skills: No :-( Saki is a sweet and simple guy - not much behind those pretty blue eyes

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: For my 13th birthday, I asked my parents if we could get another cat. Surprisingly, they said yes. I wanted another Siamese to add to our current Siamese (no longer with us), so we found a "breeder" in the area and went to look at kittens. The breeder's place turned out to be a horrendous house of squalor, with cats living in filth; we should have turned and run. While playing with the lively kittens on the floor, my mom pointed out a lethargic white kitten curled up on the back of the couch. She brought him to me and put him in my lap, where he curled up. He was completely covered in fleas and wheezing, and I felt so bad for him that we took him home. We got rid of the fleas, but Saki has always had a runny nose and wheeze to him, which I'm sure can be attributed to his filthy beginnings.

Bio: Saki's lifemate was our first Siamese, Taka. They were best brothers with a slightly twisted relationship (Saki would nurse off of Taka and then Taka would mount Saki in return - neck grab and all). When Taka passed away from cancer at the age of fourteen, Saki fell into a deep depression. A couple of years after Taka's death, my mom rescued a Siamese breeder cat that was living in a filthy cage producing litter after litter. Purrlene (we didn't name her!) has somewhat filled the void Taka left (she even looks like Taka), and Saki is now a much happier and more complete guy. And since Purrlene raised so many litters, she's accustomed to having babies nurse off of her and allows Saki to it. Although, Saki also tries to nurse off our of German Shepherd, Amber, but it really weirds her out.
