Skills: I can run up and down the stairs like a bullet
Arrival Story: This little girl was found in the street all by herself. No mama or siblings. A passerby took her to a local cat rescue shelter, Miss Kitty's Cat House in Prescott AZ, and they took her to the vet. The vet said she was 3 weeks old and healthy. So Babe was raised by foster mamas for a while. We had been thinking about getting a cat for a while (even though we swore we would never get another one after losing our beloved Mercy two years previously at age 19-1/2). We called Miss Kitty's on New Year's Day 2009 and asked about looking at their cats (we had no intention of getting a kitten) and that we were looking for a tabby with ear tufts. Miss Kitty's said we have one just like that! So we made an appointment to go see Babe and fell instantly in love with her. She was 5 weeks old at the time and too young to be adopted so we had to wait on pins and needles for a while. At last when she was 7 weeks old we were able to foster her (she could not be adopted until she had been spayed). So this little tiny piece of fluff came home with us and has been with us ever since. She is the joy of our lives. And she is blind.
