Emmett is a remarkable cat! It is assumed he has spent most of his adult life taking care of himself. He was trapped and brought to For Pets. Emmett was very scared and would bite. Then he was enticed with salmon and various other good smelling foods and Emmett saw the beauty of being domestic. He was given a complete physical, neutered and declawed.

Bio:
Emmett is very muscular, handsome and above all, very happy indoors and is so very willing to show you he loves you. Emmett is a treasure who we've watched learn the joy of being loved and pampered! If you want a "hunk", Emmett's your guy! 7-6-09 Update When we rescued Emmett, he had problems with ear infections. For a little bit, he had recurring ear infections which have since cleared up. Because of his infections, his ear canals got scarred and will get inflamed. He has a prescription for drops to keep the inflamtion down. This will probably be for his life. The drops aren't expensive, and it is usually only twice a day, 2 days a week. It doesn't affect how much he loves laps, though! Emmett's adoption fee is waived because For Pets is full on foster homes. Emmett is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
