Deneb and her sister, Altair Leilani fell from the stars one night. I went to the door to call in Bella and Shadsie, who were black and white and solid black, and two dark forms ran in. I assumed it was Bella and Shadsie, until I turned on the light, and found two beautiful Tortoiseshell kitties instead. They were only a few months old, thin and hungry
Bio:
Leilani was killed by a car when she was nine months old. Hokule'a, now 12 is still with me. She loves to go out and stargaze with me. She especially loves to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower. Leilani's spirit comes to visit her often. Deneb is one of the three stars in the Summer triangle, and is in the constellation Cygnus, the Swan. Hokule'a is the Hawaiian name for Arcturus, and means Star of Joy. Altair is one of the three stars in the summer triangle and is in the constellation Aquila. Leilani means Heavenly Flower.
