Left home

Well, I`m pretty insulted because mom went to spend the Thanksgiving week with her human girl and all us cats were left home with the nice lady who feeds us. We couldn`t go because they didn`t take the moving house this time but they did take all 3 dogs. We got an adopted dog brother and sister which I`m not very happy about but I made sure they knew I was the boss!! I can`t wait for mom and dad to get home and I will let them know I was not happy about being left here even though I do have my kitty brothers and sisters for company,

Scary day!

Yesterday I was sitting in the living room with mom & Jewel & saber when there was a huge sound and a flash of orange light! we all took off running & I was so scared I didn`t know where to go so I ran up the stairs and hid behind the bed and there was no way I was going to come out! Mom kept calling me telling me it was ok to come out but I wasn`t going anywhere. Mom said a tree next to the house got hit by something called lightening. Boy I sure hope nothing like that happens again!

Mom says we may be going on a trip in the moving house this week if the weather is good, we haven`t gone anywhere since our winter trip so it might be fun!

I found a new hobby!

I love to sit on mommy's desk and watch her work on the computer thing but sometimes she gets so busy she just ignores me! and the one thing I can`t stand is being ignored so last night I discovered if I walk across those funny things that make words I can get mom to pet me then she pushes me off so I went around the back and across those funny things again and again so I could get petted until I got bored then I went to the back and laid down behind the thing that has pictures:)

Nurse Cassie on duty

Today I had to resume my special duty as mom`s nurse. Yesterday she had a lot of dental work done and was pretty sore today so I kept her company (and warm as it was a bit chilly) all day by curling up next to her while we both watched that thing called a tv. Mom calls me her little heat pad because I`m so warm:) I also get special treats for doing such a good job!

It looks like I`ll be on nurse duty for a few days and then again once mom gets the rest of her teeth fixed. I love taking care of my mommy because she always takes good care of me.

They finally left!!

I`m happy now that mommy is done doggie sitting her girls 2 big dogs! I really think they should have been in the barn with Tuffy the horse..They sure are nothing like our other doggie cousin Ozzie. I had to put the one called Tucker in his place a few times because he somehow thought it was acceptable to droll on me..that was so insulting for me..the perfect princess to get drooled on by an over sized dog Yuck!!

It is so nice and peaceful now and safe for us kitties to run around and play without being chased! I even curled up with mom last night and watched a car race with her. Life is returning to normal..I did hear something about possibly having to doggie sit Lily and Tucker when their girl goes on something called a deployment and that will be a longer time..I`m not too happy about that and Kit isn`t either..I think us kits will have to have a discussion with mom & dad about this.

Oh no..They`re coming back..

I heard mom talking to her human girl and heard that our big doggie cousins Lily and Tucker are coming for a visit while their mom goes to some kind of school and mom said she would doggie sit for them..

Boy, our world is sure going to get turned upside down, they are just so big and noisy when they run around the house! I guess all of us cats are going to have to hide upstairs again. Kitkat is lucky because he can go outside with Simon and hide from them!

Having Fun!

We are into our second week of our winter road trip and it has been so nice to sit by a window and smell the air. There has been a really annoying squirrel that sits in the tree outside our window and chirps at all of us. I have been enjoying myself just lounging in the big window in the sun, it feels so nice and there`s none of that cold white stuff around, I`ve never touched the white stuff but Kit and Simon say it is wet and very cold and I sure don`t like wet stuff! Our moving house is going to move again in a few days so we will see more new things and then we`ll go back to our favorite spot for a few weeks before heading home to that yucky white stuff!

Our Trip

Today my typist is going to help with my diary..It`s about time!

Simon, Saber & Jewel got something that made them sleep. I didn`t need anything except the nice hiding spot under the sink where I had a nice blanket to curl up in and it`s warmer than my old spot behind the stove (I`m not allowed under there any more)I even came out for awhile and sat on mom`s lap until Jewel woke up and pushed me off! This trip wasn`t as much fun as our other ones because we went to a really cold place so all the windows were covered and we couldn`t look out or sit in the sun. I like the warm places better, we can sun ourselves and watch the birds in the trees. We may be going to that warm place again soon.

Our summer trip

I found a new spot to hide in the moving house, Mom made a nice spot under the front cabinet for me, she put a nice soft towel for me to lay on too. We went to a place called Pennsylvania so mom and dad could go to antique stores and flea markets though I don`t know why they keep wanting to find fleas! We got to stay inside and had a lot of fun bossing our doggie brofur Sterling around while mom and dad were away. At night Kit and Simon would guard the house by sitting in the window while us younger ones piled on top of mom and dad in the bed we had our cat tree but it was more fun to crowd them out:)

It`s been pretty busy..

Mom hasn`t had much time to type for us but she promised to update our diaries so I get to go first:) Our fur cousin Ozzie has been staying with us for a couple of weeks since his dad had work in another state to do and he couldn`t go. I`m used to him now and found I can boss him around and show him that us cats are superior MOL! We haven`t gone on any trips yet in the moving house but mom said probably at the end of the summer we will go so we will see ...
