Queen of the Household

New Attitude

It has been a long time since I last blogged….and boy has A LOT happened since then. First off, not only did those humans keep Mr. Mag-ew, they got 3 other cats…Scrump, Stottlemeyer (what kind of names are those??!!) and most recently Wee Gray. I didn’t get any peace. Mr. Mag-ew and Scrump were always chasing me around and bullying me. Stottlemeyer was totally unapproachable. And that little Wee Gray would chase me whenever she came out of the bedroom she stole from me. To top it all off, Mommy April and Uncle Jeff were always waving around things on a stick at me, terrifying me, expecting me to do something.

Well I was as mad as hell and not going to take it anymore. Like Patti LaBelle, I got a new attitude. Whenever those whiskersnappers try to chase me or attack me, they are met with my fast paw. I shall run no more. There’s a new sheriff in town and her name is Nicky. And when Mommy April and Uncle Jeff wave those things on a stick at me, I bite the strings and other assorted objects. It’s actually quite fun.

Between you and me, I am still a bit afraid of that tiny terror WeeGray…she is small and quick…like hell on wheels.

I Smell Trouble

I know what those sneaky humans are up to. Yesterday Mommy April & Mommy Rose came home smelling like a bunch of dirty-pawed cats. I'll bet they went to that place, the SPCA, where Mr. Mag-ew came from. They better not think they are bringing another cat home to my territory. I'm not meowing around.

It should be a one cat household

Although I was at first a-pawed that humans snatched me up off the street and put me in their house, I came to realize that being a housecat was much better than being a street cat. The humans put fresh food and water out for me everyday, and I didn't have to fight with a bunch of other cats to get it. I found many comfortable places to lay such as the couch or Mommy April's bed. When it rained, I didn't get wet! To top it all off, Mommy April, Mommy Rose and Uncle Jeff were always scratching the top of my head and my chin, just how I like it. Life was purr-fect...until HE came along.

One day Mommy Rose came home with a little white furball. He was very annoying, always meowing and prancing around. Mommy April, Mommy Rose and Uncle Jeff were always making a fuss over him. I tried to remain patient, thinking that the day would soon come when they would send him back to where he came from.

That day never came. Mr. Mag-ew got bigger and louder. He started to follow me around, paw me and chase after me. But I never let the humans forget that I am the queen of the household. Whenever they start to pet Mr. Mag-ew, I come over immediately and with my heartiest "raar", I demand to be pet.

Now if only Mr. Mag-ew would respect that I am the queen of the household, that little whiskersnapper.
