Arrival Story:
Our daughter talked us into taking a cat that was going to be taken to a shelter. She was so skinny we did not know she was pregnant. I found her a home and a few weeks later the woman said she came home from work to find four kittens. I took back momma and kittens. Sylvester was the runt of the litter. He has seven toes on each foot. Mama cat kept moving the kittens and leaving him behind. So I had to listen for him meowing to find him and put him back with the rest of the family. I did this constantly until he was strong enough that she did not leave him anymore. I became so attached to the little guy while trying to keep him alive. He is now about twenty pounds and the sweetest cat you could ever want.

Bio:
Sylvester P is a polydactyl or mitten toe, he has seven toes on each foot. We finally had the extra claws removed because they kept growing down into the pads. He still has his other claws. All the kittens had extra toes, but Sylvester P had the most.

fleas!

Mum put more flea drops on me today. Those flea bags outside give Tasha fleas and she brings them in to me and Diamond! Mum has had to start putting flea prevention on us within the last month. She normally doesn't use it, but since we have all those low rent "feral" cats outside (hmptf!) she had to start using it. I do not like it either!

I have a half sister named Tasha Yarr, she's a dog. That's why she's my half sister, because uhh... she's a dog.

We both pile on Mums bed when she first climbs in. We have to tuck her in. I have to sit on her stomach and prepare the bed for her each night. I also have to groom the dog each night and tuck her in too. Wheww! I have a very busy bed time!

After I get everyone tucked in, I go off and find a less crowded place to sleep. I am 20 pounds after all and I need a lot of room to stretch out. The dog follows me sometimes. She likes for me to groom her and when I stop, she pokes me with her nose to try to get me to do some more! Is that thanks or what? Geez! some dogs don't know how good they have it!

Sometimes I have to bite her ear or lip to get her to stop poking me! Then Mum breaks up the fight and tells both of us to stop! She started it Mum! Dumb dog! She tries to play sometimes, but she gets to rough and I have to bite her or scratch her on the nose.

We are buds though. Since Diamond won't play with me I have to amuse myself with the dog.
