Lookin' good

Mom put a new picture up. She was digging through her old computer files and found this one. Of course, it's from my young svelte days as an outside cat back at the farm. Personally, I'm very glad that mom moved me inside when she and dad got their own house.

Cardboard capers

My mom loves me. I know this because she does cool things like feed me, and pet me, and hug me, and buy me new toys. Best of all she knows how much I love cardboard boxes. A few days ago she and a friend when to Sam's Club and they sent the goodies home in a box. When mom put the box on the floor I hopped in and made myself comfy. Because she's so cool she's letting me keep the box. It's the perfect place to stalk the dogs.

She's back

For a while I had it made, but now the normal Akera is coming back to haunt me. See Akera had to make a long visit to the vet for something called heartworm treatment. When she came home she was very quiet, dopey and spent a lot of time in her crate. Now however, she's just as rowdy as normal... despite mom's attempts at keeping her quiet.
