Arrival Story: We recently moved into our house and was told by our new neighbor that the previous owners had left their cat behind. The previous owners were moved out and gone three weeks prior to us moving in. The neighbor stated he tried to catch the cat but she ran into the sewers...said if he caught her he'd take her to the local humane society. The very same night (I call it fate) my daughter and I let our newly adopted dog out to do her chores about 4: 30 am. My daughter screamed and stated eyes were glowing in the dark and that it's a cat!!! I looked on the back deck and there was this poor and lonely kitty resting as if waiting to be let in her home. I picked her up without her running away and brought her inside. She waltzed around the house like she new where every room was at, but looked confused as to why we where in her home. She has gained weight and her skin/coat is so much healthier than when we took her in that night. Lilly is a sweet and precious cat and I can't fathom why they would just leave her. She is a bonified member of our family now!
