I'm doing just fine with my recovery right now. I keep getting caught messing with my incision so mommy keeps putting the cone on me. Daddy doesn't pay attention so I get to go NOM NOM NOM on my incision when mommy is at school.
My doctor said that I have clean margins after the surgery last week, however she thinks that the cancer may have spread to my lymph nodes. Mommy is very confused when it comes to what to do next. She doesn't know if I'm a good candidate for chemotherapy.
Does anyone out there think I am? Ah well, back to the cone and trying to find a way to get out of it!

Awww keep those stiches in!! No clue about the whole chemo thing...I'm purring up a storm for you!!!
Sending you lotsa purrs!
It sure is itchy huh? I am glad you are doing better though. It is good that they seem to have gotten all the tumor. I don't really know much about the chemo aspect, but I would think it should be an option. What does your vet say about it? If you are not getting a clear answer, it would not hurt to certainly talk to another vet, or maybe an oncologist - not sure how many of them are out there, but it may be a thought. We send purrs. (be a good girl & leave them stitches!)
I have both my vet and my oncologist and I'm gonna go see the oncologist in about a week. Mommy just feels so confused with what to do because she doesn't like seeing me unhappy. She tried to feed me turkey and that's a big no thank you! She tried to sneak antibiotics in last night, I don't trust her right now.
