It's Good To Be Back!!!

It is good to be back all of my wonderful feline and human companions. I have had myself a little hiatus but I am back now and more ready than ever. Alot has happened in the time since I have been gone. I no longer fight too much with my nemesis Nariko. It appears that we rather enjoy rough playing with each other and snuggling up to each other in this rather cool weather. It is nice to have another warm body to cuddle up next to. Also, my birthday cake was well, not as tasty as I would have liked it to be. It was so bad that not even Nariko who eats anything that is even remotely edible would touch it with her paws. Mom felt so bad that she gave Nariko and me some real tuna fish instead. I was glad because that stuff was awful YUCK!!!!! Although, I will admit the cake was real pretty. I think it displayed all of my wonderful assets nicely. Overall though, things have been coming along nicely, my mommy has already bought me my halloween outfit and Nariko's outfit too and I am excited for when the Christmas tree will get setup because that is when the real fun begins. I get to wreak havoc on the christmas ornaments. Well everyone, I have to go but rest assured I will be back tomorrow and to all of the kitties of he world: stay dry, stay warm, and head butts to all of you.

There are so many Wonderful Friends Here at Catster!

My furry feline friends and wonderful human companions,

I don't know where to start. You are all such wonderful people and felines. I have never felt so much love and warmth and friendship like I have today. You have all made my day even more special than it could have ever been. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my kitty heart. I would also like to thank everyone for helping my diary be the pick of the day. A thousand thankyou's. My human parents have given a happy birthday but this just makes my heart burst with happiness. Once again, I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all of my feline and even doggy companions a thankyou for all of the wonderful birthday wishes and for simply remembering that yesterday was my birthday. You all don't know me that well and yet you have welcomed me warmly and I also want to say hello and thankyou to all of the wonderful cat and dog owners out there. Thankyou for giving us pets a loving home. I will check in tomorrow.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY !!!!!

Well my furry little friends and human companions, today is my fourth birthday, YAHH!!!! My mommy bought me a kitty cake with a picture of me on it but I won't be getting it until Saturday because that is when she is throwing me and my daddy a birthday party. It's going to be so much fun that I am so ezcited. I wish all of my friends could come but I will post pictures of my party later on. Today is also my human father's birthday and my mommy is buying him a cake too. Just thinking about eating my cake and my human father's cake is enough to make me lick my chops. Today is going to be a great day, it's my birthday, I am 4 yrs old, and my mommy is going to spoil me rotten today and on Saturday. Well friends I must go on but not for long. I shall be back to tell you all how good the cake that my human mother bought me was.

Missing all of my Catster Friends

To all of my wonderful catster friends, feline and human, I am back on after a short hiatus. I am happy to report that my human uncle is doing alot better. Mommy has been going to see him at the children's hospital this entire week. She says it will still be a while before my uncle gets to come home, but I am just happy to hear that he is doing alot better. My mommy finally ordered my birthday cake and it will get here on Saturday. I am so excited, I don't know what to do. I will be four years old, can you all believe that?! Mommy says she will take lots of pictures. My daddy and I have the exact same birthday so mommy will be spoiling the two of us. She is also throwing my daddy and me a big birthday party and I just wish that all of my friends lived here in Texas near me so that I could have all of my good friends come and join me. My mommy is going to take lots of pictures so I will be sure to tell her to post them on the website as soon as she can. Well, I have to go now, but I hope I can get back on tomorrow so that I can talk to all of my friends here at Catster. Hoping to talk to you all soon,

Keeping my nose clean!

Well my feline and human friends, this week has been quite a sad week for my human mommy and me. My human uncle, mommy's little brother, is very sick. He is at the children's hospital in Dallas where he will remain for the sext several weeks. My mommy has been a bit sad and hasn't been able to give me as much attention as she usually gives me so I tried to make her feel good by sleeping with her all last night. It seemed to help because she is in much better spirits today. She will be away from me and Nariko for the next couple of days visiting with my uncle at the hospital but I have confidence that he will be strong and pull through. I know that I am a newcomer here and I thank all of my feline friends and human companions for welcoming us so nicely to the Catster community and hope that you can all keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully I will be back on tomorrow to say hi to all of my friends.

A Day In the Life of a Kitty

Well my feline friends and companions, the Budster is signed back on and apologizes for not signing on yesterday. Today has been a good day so far. This morning my human daddy was praising me and loving me and giving me lots of hugs and kisses along with my mommy. He said that he was so proud of me for being nice and letting Nariko, my little sister, sleep in the bed with us. I didn't growl or hiss at her once. I was just being nice because I missed my daddy this weekend. Mommy and I were both so happy to see him yesterday afternoon since he was gone all weekend long for his job. Mommy says that daddy has a very important job, but I say that Nariko's stinky farts made him leave. I tell you, I wonder what mommy's been feeding that little girl. Anyhow, I hope everyone had a very good weekend and I hope to hear from everyone soon. Sending a shout out to all of my lovely friends.

Well friends, it is the weekend yeah!!!!! My mommy posted some new pictures of me and my little sister. Tell me what you all think of me :) They are not as cute as some of the pictures my other feline friends have but mommy is working on that. Well I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I Survived!!!

Hello all of my furry feline friends and human companions. I am signed on again and ready to write. So my mommy took me to the vet yesterday and alas I am sad to say that my plans to bite the vet's finger were again foiled by both my daddy and the veterinary technician. But on the bright side, mommy and daddy praised me for being such a good kitty and doing good. They gave me lots of hugs and kisses. The only thing that the Budster likes about going to the vet is how the nurses and vet techs always get a kick out of how mommy and daddy bring me to the vet. They never crate me, instead they put me on a harness and a leash. I like it better that way because I hate being locked up in small spaces. The vet visit went pretty well I must say. Mommy was right when she thought I had lost weight. Daddy thought I had gained weight, but I actually lost a half a pound so now I am down to 9lbs from 9.8 lbs last year. The vet told mommy and daddy that it was okay if they feed me kitten food as long as they cut back on the wet food for the next month or so until I start to eat my own food instead of Nariko's food. He said to also cut back on my regular dry food since my mommy free feeds me and to instead give me small portions of my dry food and small portions of baby sister's food until I get back to my normal routine. The vet also remembers Nariko and he will be seeing her next week and he said that Nariko might be playing her card too since she and her littermates used to get into some big fights in their kennel while she was at the orphanage. Mommy told the vet about some of the fights we have had but the vet said it was okay, things will work themselves out.
Last night I got special treatment and mommy let daddy and me have a boy's slumber party. She let daddy and me have the master bedroom so I would get to sleep with daddy all alone and not have to worry about Nariko jumping on the bed and me growling at her. Mommy slept in the guest bedroom with Nariko and I got to have a nice comfortable sleep. I was so comfortable I didn't even want to get up with daddy this morning like I usually do, so mommy came in and laid down with me for a bit while Nariko ran around the room messing with daddy's ankles. All in all, yesterday was a good day and I look forward to seeing what today brings. I look forward to my birthday on October 1. Mommy is going to order me my very own personal birthday cake!!! Well my friends, it is time for me to go, but don't despair, I shall be back again tomorrow.

The Dreaded Visit to the Vet!!!!!

Hello my furry little friends and human companions. I am back on and more ready than ever. Today will not be a good day for me as today is the day that most felines and I'm sure some canine companions across the country and around the world most dread. Today is the day that I get to see that dreaded veterinarian. Why would my mommy do this? I mean she knows I hate the vet!!! Every year she takes me to see him I try to bite his finger off and everytime I try to do that my daddy sabotages my plan by holding me down, not fair!!!! Last year I was so close I could almost taste him so this year I'm hoping that daddy is a couple of seconds off so that I can get him. I mean who likes to have thermometers stuck up their hiney hole? I sure don't, and that's what gets me going. As soon as that thermometer goes in, I starts a hissing and growling so that by the time the vet sticks that ugly old needle in I'm ready to bite. The only good thing that comes out of me going to the vet is that mommy gives me tuna fish, the real stuff with the tuna juices. Oh that stuff is so good I'm already salivating and licking my chops. Mommy and daddy say I have to go to the vet because they want me healthy and happy so I guess I can put up with one visit a year, but just one. More than one visit a year is unacceptable, at least to me and not my mom and dad.
Other than that, last night was a good one. I was nice to Nariko and I slept with my mommy on the couch where she was napping and was covered with my favorite blanket in the whole wide world. It was nice because I didn't have to share my mommy with anyone, not even daddy. It was like old times again and it felt good. Mommy was sad later that night though because I wouldn't sleep on the bed with her and daddy. She knows she has to give me time but it is still hard on her. I just gets so jealous when I see Nariko in the room with us at night even if she isn't on the bed. Mommy says she misses me curling up by her side but she will just have to give some time. I never thought I would have to share my room with anyone other than my human companions so it is harder on me than it is on my human friends. Mommy and daddy are patient though, and no matter how long it takes, when ever I am ready to sleep with them they will take me in with open and loving arms. Things are getting better and better every day. Even if it is just a small step at a time it is still progress. Mommy says she is worried about me because she knows that I am stressed out. She says I am not eating or drinking as much so she will ask the vet what to do. I only want to eat Nariko's food and not my own so Mommy isn't sure what to do. Well, we will figure things out soon enough. Well friends, feline, human and otherwise, it is time for me to sign out. I will be back tomorrow to let you know whether or not I successfully bit my veterinarians' finger. Mommy pushed my appointment up by several days because she is concerned about my lack of appetite so my usual veterinarian will not be in. That means that I may have a chance of getting to bite this newbie since my usual vet is seasoned at my attempts to bite him, heeheeheee:) Good day to all and may you all have a puurrrrfect day.

Another Day in the Life of a Cat

Well my furry little friends, as promised I am here to post how things are going between myself and the new kitty in my home. I like to think of her as the other woman, sigh. Well apparently according to my mommy and daddy I am not allowed to munch on this new kitty's food. Apparently her food is for kittens and my food is for adults. Well I'M A BABY or at least I was until she came along. But that's okay, I just wait until my human friends aren't looking and I sneak in a couple of bites. Serves them right for telling me what I can and cannot eat. They're not supposed to tell me I can't have some of Nariko's food. They never used to tell me no and now they do. Also, I can't hiss at her when she's trying to eat her food from her bowl. I thought I was supposed to share my stuff with her so isn't it fair that she should only share with me? Come on, even steven I say. If I have to share then so should she. It won't kill her to give me a little of her food since she's so tiny. I should be rewarded anyhow since she has some stinky farts and stinky poops. WHEEEEW EEEEEEHHHH! Man, I never thought something so foul and stinky could come out of a cat that small, but Nariko sure can cut them. That's punishment enough and worthy of getting some of her food but alas I am forbidden. We also had a couple of cat fights last night. Mommy scolded us both and said I should be nicer to Nariko since she's smaller than me, I say bologna.
She also was all over my bed last night like she owns the joint. Well I had to teach that cat a lesson along with my human companions. To Nariko, I had to show her whose boss in this house and to my human friends I protested by not sleeping with them for the first time ever. I always sleep with mommy and daddy when they are home. But not last night since Nariko was in bed with them to. She's not allowed in the bed, only me and I plan on making that clear. Well friends, I have to sign out for the day but not for long. I shall be back tomorrow and again post you on our progress. Maybe things will get easier over time. I keep hoping my mommy and daddy will take Nariko back but seeing as that may not be a possibility I guess I will have to learn to get along with her.Bye everyone and have a PURRRFECT day
