A new girl kitty in my house

My momcat went outside to get the mail and she saw a stray kitty in the empty house next to ours. She walked over and reached over the fence and the kitty tried to jump in her hands. My momcat walked around the fence and the kitty followed her. My momcat picked her up and brought her into our house. I only saw her for a minute, she put her in a cage in her finished garage where her daughter is staying. Her daughter took the kitty to a vet and they said she had no microchip and was about 6 months old and she is in heat. She is a brown tabby with the circular stripes, very exotic looking and she has 6 toes on her front paws. She is very pretty. My momcat is taking her to get fixed on Monday and get an e collar and get checked for FIV/FELV. My momcat really doesn't want another cat, she may put her up for adoption on catster. On Monday when she returns from the vet my momcat said she is going to put her in a cage in our front room. I have to wait until then to meet her.
I hope she is a nice kitty and likes us. I don't know how I feel about another sisfur. I'm not very happy about this.

Be happy buddy! She sounds pretty and she has 6 toes!!! You gotta love that:) Thank god your momcat rescued her and now she will find a loving home and wont add to the kitty overpopulation. She will be safe and loved, like every kitty should be. Does she know how to drive a hummer? Teehee!!

I know you're right buddy, but I'm afraid she will be here furever and I'll get stuck with another girl cat in my house. It's so hard that people are just dumping their cats on the streets. My momcat will fall in love with her and she will probaly be living with us. No girls allowed in the hummer or my jalopy. I'll need my jalopy to make a quick get away.

Wowzers! Mom is wonderful. It is a lot of work to take in fosters. Smart to check for FIV/Felv and get Dipped for them fleabs.
We also know that there is nothing like the thrill of having a little one(or an oldster for that matter) go home to a new loving forever home!
We give cheers to your Mom! We give you cheers too as it is tough to allow a strange kitty into your home.

Oh Bugsy your Mommie is so loving. Don't ya just love that about her? I do!

Poor little purrgirl was meant to be found by a loving heart.

God bless your Mommie!

Our Mama has done the same thing several times O_O It all worked toward the best for efurryone. 'Cept Mama kept GAGA and Platelicker DOES NOT like GAGA. He 'tacked her once and it was wild for a minute there. GAGA lives in Mama's room.

And, Bugsy, what is wrong with a purrgirl? I am a purrgirl.

My momcat is a foster failure she tried with Spice and me, we're still here because she fell in love with us, she can't foster. That's so nice of your mommy Loke to take in a kitten. My mommy let me see her today and all she did was hiss at me. Girls are okay Raincloud like you, you are my purrty girl.

Wow, I'm glad your momcat found that little girl. That so great of her to take the little one in try to find her a new home! She sounds purrty. My mom found me when I was about the same age. We'll purr that all her test results are good.

Hi Bugsy, Well I hope you get to keep her after all your momcat did and is doing for her, she will have a very good home with you. My mommy had sort of the same thing happen to her recently. She found a kitten all tangled up in the bushes and she was so cold wet and hungry so my mommy put her in her jacket and brought her home. And of course she couldd not part with her. She only looked about 4 weeks old, now she is a happy little one, her name is Lilly. At first I was not happy at all, i have always had my mommys attention since I was born, sharing it has been hard, I guess I have to get used to it. Please keep us posted with your news.

awwwwwwww "eeehhh" Bugsy... glad I your purrty girl (blush)

Edwin, guess lots of our Mommies have done the same. Glad they are tenderhearted.

Awful thing. This morning our Mama was driving to work and in the middle of the road was a small orange fluff. Mama saw the small one had been hit by a car and was gone to kitty heaven. Mama's heart sank and she blew the little fluff 2 kisses through her rear view mirror as she always does when she sees any animal or bird dead on the road. Mama almost feels their presence.

If our Mommies did not save us, where would we be now...

I sorry to be so sad with that story, but it is true.

Lilly is a lovely name Edwin, I'm glad your mommy rescued her, you'll get used to her in time. Kittens have alot of energy which can get on our kitty nerves. that's a sad story Raincloud but I guess we should all be thankful we were rescued and loved. We are all indeed lucky kitties.

Love you Edwin and Raincloud
