Arrival Story: Meet Silas
He is very shy because of lack of socialization while living with a hoarder. He loves other cats and kittens. He's very playful - he loves to play with feather wands. When Silas first came to us we were afraid he would be labeled a feral cat for the rest of his life. But with some patience on his and his foster parents part.. he is coming around. He will need someone willing to work with him and gain his trust. He is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL black cat. He almost looks like a panther... but doesn't act like one. He is very very good with his siblings.. in fact at times they take advantage of poor Silas.
Do you have room in your heart for this sweet boy?
Silas was rescued from a hoarding situation. We were told that he is under one year. He has been neutered and has had his 1st FVRCP vaccination
Silas is in a foster home 20 miles west of Chicago in the Villa Park area.
