Arrival Story:
I was given to a Rescue Agency because I had been bitten by a recluse spider on my paw and my family could not afford the medical treatment. It was really bad. But the nice doctor saved my life. He did have to amputate two of my toes ... but I'm fine. While I was healing my foster mom took great care of me ... rocked me and held me while I was healing. When they decided I could go to a forever home my foster mom took me to PetSmart. There were quite a few of us "rescued" cats. Then this girl came by ... she wasn't really looking for me ... she came to get hamster food ... but she looked so nice ... I reached my paw out and grabbed her. She stopped and asked if she could hold me. I knew I wanted her to take me home so I wrapped my paws around her neck and licked her cheek. Then I heard my foster mama tell her that she was second in line ... I was suppose to go to someone else ... she handed me back to my foster mama and with tears in her eyes said please call me if she doesn't come get him. They didn't let her make it out to her car before they called her on her cell phone and told her to hurry up and come get me. They told her to sign the adoption papers and take me before the other lady got there because I wanted her. It was ok because the other lady already had two cats and my new mama would just have me ... and that hamster ugh ... Ratley.

Bio:
A little while ago my mommy moved back in with her mommy and daddy ... and I got to live with a maltese named Ellie Mae. She tolerates me. Then my mommy worked at the humane society and brought home this little girl kitten. The very first night when I heard her meow ... I knew I had to take care of her. She likes to sleep with my paws around her. Guess it makes her feel good. (Don't tell her ... but I like it too.)

Oh my goodness. I was made cat of the day for catster. Wow. What a great day. Mommy will be so proud of me.

This has been such a day. I'm getting so many furrends and well wishes. I'm having a great time.

My mom used to have a beta fish .... but one day while she was at work .... I got really hungry. Now in my defense ... the fish's name was Sushi. Come on ... at least I didn't eat that hamster Ratley.

I'm writing this fast because I need to get back to the kitchen in a hurry. Mommy is making my favorite for supper - talapia. I love that. She always gives me a taste. : )

I also need to keep my baby sister out of trouble. She found mommy's plant in the kitchen and she's always playing in it and then mommy has to get that loud vaccuum cleaner out.

Will try to write more later ... but out to the kitchen. : )
