Big move...!

Hi all.

So, we're moving... We're moving far far away to a place called Northern Ireland... Some time next month "The Human" is starting her new job so we will need to move before then. I think it will be exciting... I hope we will have a garden so I can go out and try and actually catch things that really are alive (before I catch them)...
Today we went to the vet to get our passports, it was horrible! I felt so comfortable in the carrier that I didn't want to go out into that strange place, so I was still half in the carrier when he gave the shots... And then I had to get out again because "The Human" had forgotten what my tattoo says (and it needed to go in the passport because we don't have a chip)... The vet who'd given me the tattoo had made it in a strange place in one of my ears so the vet had to shave some of my ear-hair and then they still couldn't read it...! Luckily they could read it in the other ear so it's all sorted now. But I do hope I don't have to go back there ever again...!

Well, I think that was all for now. Hope you've all had better days than me...

News!

Hi all.

I know Emil and me haven't been the most active kitties on here for a long time. But we're back and has joined a new group with lots of lovely new friends. :)
The sad thing though is that one of our new friends has gone to the bridge yesterday, so not fair that we didn't get a chance to get to know him, he seemed like such a great cat!
"the human" spent some time away from us last year, most of the day she was gone, she said she was going to school, not sure what that is but thankfully she's back here with us most of the time now. It's been really cold here recently so we've all cuddled up together on the sofa at night. When it's not so cold I usually sleep on the humans bed and Emil sleeps on a cat bed next to the sofa or on the human untill she goes to bed and we all sleep on the bed. But yesterday was Valentines Day, so Emil kept me company (and warm) on the bed in the bedroom. When the human went to bed we just moved over a little bit so there was room for her as well.
Hope you're all doing as good as we are, and had a lovely Valentine's day. Emil and me got lots of cards from our new friends at the Pen Paws group, the human didn't get any cards...
Well, I guess it's time for a nap before the human comes back home again.

I'm still here...

Hi everyone.

It's really been a long time since I was last here. Mette's not home at the moment, she's at some job-seeking-thingy till noon todsy. It was okay having Musia visiting, she was very hissy and not much fun. Before she went home Mettes dad was really ill and in hospital for a few days so Emil and me had to run the place and didn't see much of Mette for the rest of the month. He wasn't allowed to drive a car so she had to drive for them (her mum doesn't know how to drive) and there were a lot of tests and stuff for a while. But he's fine now. Mette had a job for a few months around christmas but now things are back to normal and we've got her to ourselves for most of the time...
At the moment, and for the next 3 weeks my brother's visiting. He was the gray kitten Mette wanted before she found me. He's bigger than me but in other ways very like me. The first week we spent getting to know eachother again, it's almost 2 years since we last saw eachother so there was a lot of hissing and growling (I admit it was mostly from me), he was following me everywhere and any of you girls out there know that the atention's nice for a while but then it just gets too much... But we're all fine now and tomorrow's our birthday, hope it'll be a great day.

And I hope you're all well and good. I'm really sorry I've been away for so long... Photos of me and my brother will be uploaded soon, I need some help from Mette so I'll ask her for help when she gets home.

Another girl...

Hi all kitties out there...

I'm sooo exited, my cousin's coming to stay with us for almost 3 weeks this summer. Mette's told me that she's a beautifull lonhaired red kitty with an amasing tale... I just hope she's not preattier than me... And that she's nice... She's used to being an only kitty and has never known her mummy so she might be a little freaked out by Emil and me... But it'll be so great to have another girly-kitty in the house for a while. I don't think Emil's to exited about the idea, but he is a boy-kitty and old (almost 3...!) so I'm sure he's just being groupy out of habit and not because he really is... Our cusin's a few months older than me so we can have so much (almost kitten) fun together... Well, I've spent some time not makin trouble now so I'd better be going. Have a great summer.

Summer in the city...

Hey kitties...

It's summertime in Denmark, the sun's shining and it's really hot everywhere, I haven't seen that much sunshine since I was tiny. In one month and 2 days I'll have my first birthday, not too sure what that means but I'm sure it's special and exiting. Have you seen my new photo...? Mette can't believe how big and grown-up I look, most of the time I'm still her kitten so it's okay. I still love this place we're living, there's always something to look at when you look out the window so Emil and me spend most of our time looking out the windows. Mette's opend them a very little bit (not enough for us to go out) so we can smell all the city-smells outside. :)
Well, just wanted to say hello, think it's time for me to go back to my nap in the big chair and let Mette use the computer again...

A move to the city...

Hi you.

Hope you're all doing as good as me.
Emil, Mette and me have moved to the city... It's so exiting... I don't care what Emil think I love it here... There's so much to look at, smell and explore. :) Mostly because Mette hasn't unpacked yet so there's bags and boxes to go into and sleep in. And outside the big windows with lots of room for a kitty or two we can see cars and people and birds and all sorts of interesting things... Mette took a few pictures of us yesterday, she promises there'll be more, she took some at the old house we lived in, and at the place were we stayed for a few weeks before going here. She's promised me they'll all be online as soon as she finds the cable-thingy for the camera... ;)

Will be back later to tell you more about living here in the middle of everything.

Waht a strange day it's been...

Hi all.

I've had the strangest day today... Actually I'm not even sure it's stoped being strange yet... This morning Mette got up really early and then she put the little carrier on her bed. While I was busy exploring it she closed the door behind me and took me with her outside...!!! She put the carrier on this weird yellow thing with weels and started walking with it and me for quite a bit. It wasn't very nice, I didn't know where we were going without Emil or what was going to happen... It was kind of cold as well so I wasn't really happy... At some point I remembered Mette told me yesterday when she got the carrier in from the freezing cold room we never go into, that I was going to the vet... I've never been to a vet before but was thinking that if it was this cold thing in the carier I didn't like it... We got to a place with quite a lot of cars and then we stopped. Mette got the carrier of "the thing" and we went into a nice warm house with a nice woman inside. At least she seemed nice in the begining but then she did something to my leg that hurt a little bit and then Mette left me as I was falling asleep... I don't remember much untill I woke up and was feeling a bit weird... My ears feel kind of strange but I still hear as well as before... And my belly feels really sore and there's some weird string on it to keep it together by the look of it. I was waking up more and more and there was a bit of food for me and the Mette came back and took me back home... Or to the place were she works and then a nice man took us home in his car. Now I'm going to let Emil get a chance at the computer and then I'll take a nap with Mette on the sofa, just wanted to let you know about my strange day...

P.S. Mette's told me that I've been spayed, had shots and had my ears tatooed if any of you know what that means... I don't know...

It's christmas... :)

Hi everyone.

Mette's told me it's christmas now, I'm still not sure what that means...
It's now the 23rd of december and Mettes huge suitcase is packed and the cat-carrier is ready on her bed, we're all going to "bedste" and "bedstefars" for christmas in about 15 mins... I've never been there before so I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not... There's snow outside and the sun's shinig making it all look beutifull when you look out of the window. Mette says it's very "christmasy" and she seems really happy, specially after it was decided yesterday that we're coming with her... :)

Well I really just wanted to thank all of you for all the lovely things you've sent me and hope you all have a lovely christmas-time and a very happy begining of the new year.

Christmas...?

Hi all.

I've been told it's christmas soon, I'm not sure what it's about but Mette's brought out a lot of fun new things that I'm not supposed to play with but really want to... And Emil and me get extra treats every day from a big cardboard-thingy... Or at least Emil gets lots of extra treats I just like to chase them around and play with them and then Emil eats them before I do... Well at least I wont get fat if I just get all the exercise and no treats... But some of them smell lovely and I have tasted a few and some of them are really good...
Mette's also talking about packing all our stuff because we'll be moving after this christmas thing... I don't know where we're going exactly but Mette says it'll have more space to run around and play so I'm sure it'll be great. We'll be there for 3 months and then we'll be moving again, it's got something to do with whatever it is Mette's doing when she leaves us all day... She say's she'll be away from us longer during the day but she'll have en extra day off each week so we won't miss her too much... At least we've got eachother so we're not left all alone... And there'll be more space to chase Emil around, YAY!
Anyway, Mette want's to use the computer again.

A busy day.

Hi all.

I've been such a busy kitty I've forgotten to keep my diary updated...! I've been here for at bit over a month now and I love it. I love Emil and Mette, the warm beds (yep, here's more than one) and I love the food. Everything here's just amazing. Right now Emil's outside exploring, Mette says he needs his space and to do the things he's always done, I just think he has all the fun without me... But it's so lovely when he comes back in all wet when it's been raning or cold when it's cold outside, then Mette and me greets him and lets him know that we love him and that he can stay in here in the warm house if he wants to. Mette let him out just before she found the blue monster... It lives in the closet and the last time it was out I wasn't sure about it, but today it just scared me... It was eating fluff of the floor, and I've realised that I'm mostly made of fluff so maybe if it's really hungry it might eat me as well...!!! No wonder Emil's terified of it and wants to be outside when it's out... But it's back now and the floor's really nice and clean now.
Mette has moved one of the plants from the window and put some other strange thing in the window where it was... I'm not sure about it so I'm going to wait till later and ask Emil about it, whenever he comes back... I miss him when he's not here...
He's a really good brother, he even looks after me when Mette's not home, and he's so much fun to play with.
Well, I've written a lot now and is tired, think I'd better take a nap...
Hope you're all well and had a great halloween (Mette told us about it yesterday, I'm not sure what it really is, it's not really celebrated here in Denmark).
