In Loving Memory of Sampson

I just wanted to let everyone know that my beloved companion Sampson has gone over the Rainbow Bridge. On July 12, 2006, Mom made the hardest decision of her life and Sampson passed peacefully in her arms after a long battle with Cushing's Disease and old age. I miss snuggling with him and rubbing up against him. From the day Mom brought me home from the Humane Society, Sampson was my friend and accepted me as part of our little family. He watched over me and never questioned that I was a cat and he was a dog. I could always find comfort and affection from Sampson, for everyone was his friend and he was a gentle, loving soul that is very much missed. Mom cries everytime she think about him, and I do my best to comfort her when she does. I hope he's happy and free from pain now and look forward to snuggling with him once again someday. Rest in peace my friend and I promise to continue harrassing Aurie because I know that's what you'd expect of me!

Happy New Year 2005

Well I can't beleive the new year is here, but I have to say I sure had a great 2004! I got a new pretty red collar for Christmas from Santa, and my Grandma and Grandpa got me some yummy treats too! My new Year's resolution is to get Aurie to stop growling at me when I get too close. I really want to snuggle with her like I do with Mom and Sampson, but she's jealous and pretends to not like me. Funny how she's ready and willing to play chase with me though! Sometimes she even lets me chase her even though she outweighs me by about 80 pounds!

I'm a lucky kitty, Mom rescued me from this crazy lady that was fostering my Mom, me and my three siblings at an adoption day at Petsmart. I look just like my mommy kitty and even though I know I'm beautiful, I try not to let it go to my head! I like nothing more than to snuggle on Mom's lap or on her feet and I'm so spoiled it's unbeleivable! I live a charmed life. I did lose one of my nine lives by getting myself accidentally shut into my neighbors garage for two days last summer, but I've learned my lesson I think. I have lot of boyfriend kitties in the neighborhood and I've even made friends with the resident squirrel. Okay, Okay, we're not exactly friends, but we do have a truce and we tolerate each other because I love it when he teases and torments my two dog companions Aurie and Sampson!
