Arrival Story: I was born in Austin, Texas. My mommy cat was attacked and killed by a dog, I was just a few days old at the time. My human parents fell in love with me at first sight and adopted me. I'm extremely loving and affectionate lap cat that will give sandpaper kisses on request. I'm really playful and active. I tend to have a "tomboy" attitude because I love to rough house and play. Cally, who's like a cat mommy to me, is trying to teach me be more of a "proper lady kitty". Cally taught me how to be a cat because my real cat mommy died when I was very young.
Bio: My name comes from the Robert Heinlein's book "The Cat Who Walks Through Walls". Very fitting since I ran into a door within the first hour in my new home after zipping around trying to burn off energy from my excitement. My new sister thought I was nuts and avoided me and my parents for three weeks. She was really angry about my arrival, but now she's happy I'm in her life.
I have 8 of 9 lives left - When I was a year old I decided it would be fun to climb the patio screen door. I got my claws stuck in the mesh and tried to get down. When I finally freed myself, I lost my balance and ended up hitting my head on one of the living room end tables on the way down. I somehow managed to walk away with just a cut on my lip, but mommy was freaking out about all this red stuff on my white fur. I kept telling her I was okay. Anyway, I still have a little scar on my lip from the accident.
Lives Remaining: 7 of 9

The Last Forum I Posted In: We have a friend in Austin
The owners are needing to rehome these two cats. They have a baby on the way and these cats don't get along well with the resident 12 year old long haired female cat.
It would be best if Jezebel & Taube could be placed together.
Jezebel:
• 6 yr old (acts like she is 3 yrs old), black, short haired mix. (Looks like traditional black cat).
• Spayed.
• Received her when a friend went into a coma and died unexpectedly; family of my friend refused to take her.
• She gets along with cats who get along with her
• She likes to tipping glasses and bowls over to see if there is something inside of them she can have.
• She is very fastidious
• She is lovely and can get overly excited when petted aggressively.
• She adores cat toys and playing with them.
• She is a natural hunter and loves stalking.
• She stretches at your feet and shows you her belly to welcome you home when she gets used to you.
• She loves sleeping on people at night and clothes at any time and anywhere.
• She has a deep and abiding love for anything with milk in it.
• She is great at keeping the indoor insect population to a minimum.
Taube (German for pigeon):
• 7 yr old (acts like he is a kitten), black, long haired mix (as he gets older he is almost turning into a blue point).
• Neutered.
• Called Taube because his purrs sound like a pigeon.
• He gets along with other cats and small dogs
