Well, when I woke up I was in a cage, with other cats and dogs around but none of them were familiar to me and none of the humans either except the vet and his assistant. I had both front legs bandaged and my tummy was sore, but not too sore. I slept a lot the first day, then the second and third day the human from the front came back and held me a lot, she was nice and very kind. Then, other humans even the vet and his assistant would come and take turns holding me. I missed my human mom and home a little but it was ok because these humans made me feel safe. The third day my bandages came off and later when I tried to scratch the paper in my cage, I had no front claws! Oh, if my family only knew, what would they say? I had the vet come and check on me and he put some kind of fluid on the back of my neck, he said to his assistant to kill pesky fleas, and then he put liquid in both ears and said I must have had a whole colony of ear mites in both ears and then he flushed the dead mites out later to get all the junk out he said.
Then, my human mom finally came the fourth morning and I was in the crate and on the ride home, I told her about every single thing they did to me and I did not leave out a single detail. I let her know how unhappy I was with her to for not consulting me FIRST before she took me there and was she aware of the practice of petting you and weighing you to sneak up on you from behind? Human mom talked to me and I understood Ok, Diva, Home, Mama, Ok, Ok, Ok...She said more but I didn't understand it. When we got home she opened the crate and I was so glad to be home, I laid on her chest all day, really, we got home early, human mom said it was 10 am and I laid with her until 2 pm off and on.
She said that I was 'Spayed so I can't have babies which is a good thing because it is what a responsible pet owner does if they are not a breeder and there are too many animals in shelters looking for adoptive homes and too many unwanted pets and uncared for and neglected animals-even kittens'...who would do such a thing? Humans certainly are peculiar beings at times.
I got over being mad and my humans are my favorites once again.
