He seems to enjoy licking his Da's wrist watch the most. He enjoys picking on his older brother, costing him an occasional thmping on the head. Watching his hero, Robin Van Persie, striker for Manchester United. He loves going out on the deck Leashonya.
Not being allowed out on the deck Leashonya. Da's coughing.
The Present Bird and Alex O-fish-kin...and tails of the passengers on the MTA
Favorite Nap Spot:
curled up in a ball leaning up Da's leg
The Tooth Foods...and the Purple Foods...not to mention the tails of the passengers on the MTA.
He jests to Oberon and makes him smile. He is also a wonderful MTA conductor.
The story of us saying hello to Puck began back on March 26, 2009, when we said goodbye to our orange cat, Agador. We had had him for almost 11 years, but when an aggressive and advanced lymphoma set in, as one of my students said when he heard the story, "It was time to let him go."
We'll fast forward a few months, during which time we began research on Maine Coon breeders in our area. We found a few, including Damn Ynke. We made initial contact with them and then began regular checks to their website. When there was a litter ready, we checked out the photos that had been posted and there was this little impish fellow, whose outgoing personality was instantly apparent to both of us...looking at the website separately. We went and visited him when he was ready for visitors and when he leapt into my lap, it was pretty much a sealed deal at that point.
We brought him home on August 20 and have begun the process of introducing him to his new brother, Fosse. We'll keep you all updated as to the process.

'Ello good people...'tis I your friend, and humble narrator...
According to the Cute Overload page-a-day calendar that my brother Foss got for Mummsy for Christmas, it seems that we are all now in something called 2010. Welcome, gentle readers. We shall all experience this new thing together. The house seems to be back to the way it was before our pagoda turned in to an indoor tree. Sadly, it seems that the Christmas Pagoda has departed this world. Poor Christmas Pagoda...it was on this world for such a brief time. I will surely miss it. Mum and da' have tried to compensate our loss with the acquisition of another pagoda and have even placed it in the same corner of the room, once occupied by the previous (non-Christmas) pagoda that turned in to the indoor tree. They do take such good care of us.
I have to say that I did enjoy this thing called Christmas. The sock that had my name on it was filled with many delicious and fun things to play with. Fosse and I each also got wonderful toys, which I call "present birds." They are little birds on the end of a stick and they have plastic dealies coming out of them...the dealies look (and taste) like the ribbons on some of the presents underneath the tree...hence the name "present birds." (I'm ever so clever.) There are new pictures of me on the Blogs playing with the Present Bird, as well as binging on a blue pilla that Fosse got for Christmas. I'm not sure what is in that blue pilla, but it smells awesome and makes me feel really good. I also posted a picture of me and my brother Fosse. As you can see, I am the more handsome of the two...don't tell Mum I said that. (She wants me to be nice to Fosse.) Apparently his birthday is nine days. Hopefully we'll have a party and I'll get more presents.
Our house was invaded shortly after Mum, Da', Fosse and I opened all the presents. There were many big peoples and two little peoples...one even littler than me. We spent most of the time in the back room and I found another hiding place under the stairs. There were many more presents to be opened, including two little mouses with red scarves (new passengers for the MTA, no doubt) from Annie and Lacy. Fosse and I are very grateful to them for their generosity. (Incidently, the mouses are quite delicious.)
Well, good peoples, I have several naps to take today and I will need to pester Fosse for a bit and stand on places that will make Mum yell at me and threaten me with the spray bottle, so I will leave you for now.
"Gentles, do not reprehend:
if you pardon, we will mend:
And, as I am an honest Puck
If we have unearned luck
Now to 'scape the serpent's tongue,
We will make amends ere long;
Else the Puck a liar call;
So, good night unto you all.
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
And Robin shall restore amends."

'Ello Good Peoples. 'Tis I, your friend and humble narrator.
I thought I'd take this time to catch you all up on the happenings of late. I had another trip to the Kingstowne Cat Clinic back on the 11th of December. They weighed me there and I was eleven pounds and eleven ounces. (I go to eleven.) I actually think I my have weighed a little bit more when I went in than when I came out. I don't remember much of the visit, though I had a bit of a vet-induced lie-down followed by some nice pain-killing medicines. Something felt a bit different, but I didn't have too much time to focus on it, as there were other things a-piggy that weekend. It seems that my favorite pagoda has been turned into an indoor tree of some sort and Fosse and I have what Mum and Da' call a "Christmas Pagoda." It looks kind of like our old pagoda, but is definitely different, as it is on the other side of the room. Surely pagodas don't just get up and move around the room!! While the trip to the doctorb and the tree and the Christmas Pagoda are all fine and dandy bits of news, the finest and dandiest bit of news has to be the influx of whiteness that has covered the outside. It all started this past Caturday...I noticed it during my brushinks with Da'. I think the sky was falling for a while and is now filling up our deck. Mum let me out to play in it, but I couldn't go very far. It is taller than me and when I try to jump on it, I seem to fall through it...getting my paws cold and wet. I have a pretty nice view of things from my window box downstairs. The next few days could prove to be interesting. There are many shiny things underneath the indoor tree and Mum and Da' have started hanging their laundry (or their socks anyway) in the downstairs. There is even a sock with my name hanging next to Da'. (I don't understand why I only have one sock if I have four feet...maybe Da' forgot how to count.) So many changes for such a small kitteh. I'm going to try and go out in the white stuff tomorrow...don't tell Da'.

'Ello Good Peoples. 'Tis I your friend and humble narrator...
It's been a while since I've posted, so I thought I'd give you an update. I'm watching my favorite C-A-T-S CATS CATS CATS handle the Florida Panthers as I dictate to Da' (I'm still not so good with the typings, although that doesn't stop me from trying to sit on Da's computer keyboard...even when he is trying to type!!)
You may have noticed some new nicknames on my profile page. Mum calls me Mr. Excitement because she says I run around like a crazy kitten. It seems that all the kitteh that Mumsy and Da' have given homes to all have a connection to a They Might Be Giants song. (Agador had a fang, Fosse is a Wicked Little Critta and so forth...) I am also sometimes referred to by my posse nomenclature "P-Tac" I can be so gangsta.
My Grandbud sent me and Fosse a present. It is a picture of penguins looking a tree that has a cardinal in the branches. This may not sound like much, but the picture has 24 little windows that we get to open one at a time, one each morning. Each window has another little picture behind it and Fosse says that when all the windows are open, there is a special day involving even more presents. (I like presents.) So far, we opened pictures of mistletoe, a cardinal (which Fosse says is delicious) and a pair of mittens...in honor of my brother Agador, who was called "Mitten Kitten"
I'll try and keep you a-boobie of the goings-on...I've heard that we may be getting a tree soon. I'm not sure what this means, but I am sure I'll find a way to be troublesome with it!!
