Treats....he he he

Meowmy went out yesterday with her dad (my grandpaw). The night before, grandmeow caught me in meowmy's shelf in the closet. You know what is up there? A bag full of treats!!!!! I'm so smart...I climbed all the way up there but grandmeow busted me. So I waited until meowmy was gone and I made my way back in there. I knocked the WHOLE bag over and there were lots of little treat bags in there. Meowmy came home and all the treat bags were on the floor and I ripped open 4 of them. That's a lot of treats! Meowmy still doesn't know if the doggy helped eat them but she knows I did. She has caught me in my food cabinet ripping open a bag of treats. That's why she bagged them up and put them in her closet. Can't fool me! Now she put them in the pantry up on the top shelf. I just gotta find a way in because there are more treats in there! Meowmy wasn't too happy with me MOL.

Meowy Christmas!

Daphne told me that good kitties get presents under the Christmas tree today! And guess what?! I got some. Meowmy had 3 stockings: 1 fur me!, 1 fur Daphne, and 1 fur us to share! There will filled with toys and Pete has the same ones as us! We also got a scratcher with a springy ball, a kitten mitten, and another cardboard scratcher with nip. Plus, meowmy gave me a turkey neck! I was so excited that I couldn't finish it all.

Me and Daphne gave meowmy purrrresents too. Grandmaw helped us make it. We each gave her a card with lots of pictures of us. We each have a framed picture that we gave her too! And you know what Grandmaw gave meowmy for a gift?! She gave meowmy the money she needed so that Daphne can get her x-rays. Meowmy was so happy because she really wants to do that fur my sisfur. This really is the best Christmas ever! It's my first one MOL and I couldn't have asked fur a better one!

I like this Christmas thing!

I have heard so much about Christmas. I never thought it would be this good...and it's just the eve! Yesterday, me and Daphne got a present in the mail from Pete! I just love all of the goodies he sent us. We sent him a special gift too. It was so much fun! We also got some lovely Christmas cards!

Today is going really well too! It's almost like Thanksgiving...only better! You know why?! There are 2 turkeys cooking! Meowmy, Uncle Mike, and Grandmaw are bringing dinner to the people at the police department today. This way they can enjoy a yummy dinner since they can't be with their families since they are working hard to keep us safe. So now, there are 2 turkey necks and all the trimmings and they are ALL fur me! Daphne won't eat any of it. I might share with the doggie but the necks are MINE! Uncle Mike cut them into lots of pieces because they are sooooo big. I had to go sit in the Florida room while the turkey was in the sink because I wanted to eat it MOL. So meowmy gave me a gizzard to make me happy. She said I get to have a neck tomorrow on Christmas Day! She said that this Santa Claws guy is gonna come over and leave things fur me under the tree! This really is exciting! I like getting purrrresents! And turkey necks!

I'm cat of the day....and a ddp!

I am Cat of the Day and a DDP today! I'm so excited! I even woke meowmy up at 3:15 am to tell her the news! You haven't even heard the best part yet. The whole family came over and they are cooking me a whole turkey! And lots of other goodies like cranberry and pear relish, butternut squash and apple soup, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, and a pumpkin roll! Golly....now I see why being cat of the day is so cool. I am so honored!

Wait....wait. Daphne just informed me that this delicious dinner is for what they call Thanksgiving. I have never had a Thanksgiving before so I didn't know. Daphne told me that we are supposed to share (what?!) what we are thankful for. Whew..I thought she meant I had to share MY turkey!

I am thankful fur my meowmy. She found me when I was an itty bitty baby all alone in a spooky barn with nothing to eat or drink. She brought me to her home that day...and it became my home. Now, I get yummy food, drops so I don't get those pesky fleas, and shots to make me a happy healthy boy!

I am thankful fur Daphne fur being my furever playmate and always letting me win. She shares her toys with me too. I am also thankful fur grandmeow fur letting all 3 of us move to her house while meowmy looks fur a job that she can use her degree in. She graduated right before she found me and then we came here. Grandmeow even gave me the Florida Room! I am also thankful fur granpaw fur giving me treats and watching us when meowmy and grandmeow go out of town. I am also thankful fur my uncle Mike. That's meowmy's brother. He is a chef and he is cooking me all that delicious food today. We are so lucky to have all this wonderful food to eat today. I also am very thankful to all my furrriends on Catster. I have such a good time with all of you and have made some pawsome furrriends. You all are the bestest! And lastly, I want to thank Catster! They gave me this awesome honor of COTD AND DDP! They even gave me zealies to share with my furrriends!

I'm a DDP today!

Wow....this is so cool! When I logged in I saw that I had 3 new rosies...I thought "hmmmm....what's going on?" Then I saw I was a DDP. This is a big deal! Once, I was the PDPC member of the day and that was great....so I know this is gonna be huge! I'm really excited because when I was PDPC member of the day meowmy gave me extra snuggles and treats. I tried to tell her I knew this was coming last night. I knew I'd be getting extra treats. You wanna know how I tried to tell her? Here's how: meowmy has this white cabinet that has ALL of our food in it. Treats and canned food and some other kitty stuff. Meowmy has a lot of treat bags in there because she always gets them when they are on sale. This cabinet is next to the big kitty condo and has the covered litter box on top of it. It is pressed again a sliding glass door that they don't use. The cabinet doesn't have a back to it...which is great news fur me! Because I get back there and get into the cabinet without even opening a door! Meowmy tried to push the cabinet all the way back so I couldn't do it any more....but I found a way. She heard me playing with the treat bags. She opened up the cabinet and THERE I WAS! With a bag of treats that I opened all by myself! I tried to tell her I was going to be getting extra treats...so I was just trying to help her out MOL.
Thank you too all of my furrriends fur reading my diaries and sharing my special day with me. You kitties are the bestest!

Happy Vet's Day (what?!)

Happy Vet's Day! Even though they poke me with needles and stick things where they shouldn't. Ohhhh, wait....meowmy says it's not that kind of vet. Whew! But we should thank them anyway because they make sure we are healthy.

Meowmy says that her Dad, which is my Grandpaw, is a Vet. He doesn't look like one. He doesn't poke and prod at me or try to get me on the scale. Meowmy tells me that her Dad protected our country in the Vietnam War. Granpaw always looks out fur us! Yay, Grandpaw! Meowmy says that it's called Veteran's Day....now I get it!!!! Grandpaw was a Marine and served our country to keep all furs and people safe. What a nice Grandpaw! He has furrriends who did that too. Gosh, these vets sure are nice. They have allowed us to have a wonderful country and be who we are. So I want to say THANK YOU GRANDPAW! And to all the other VETERAN'S and all the other service men and women who do what is right and keep us safe. I also want to puuuray for those at Ft. Hood. Oooohh, 1 more thing. A big thank you to the VET hospital (the people kind) because they take good care of my Grandpaw. Tully's meowmy is a nurse there so send her a thank you fur taking care of the people who take care of us. They make sure that Grandpaw is with us fur a long time! Meowmy is taking Grandpaw out to lunch today. I wish I could go...Grandpaw would share MOL.

I'm a good helper

I'm such a good helper. I helped meowmy with the new litter box. You see...I spend a good part of my day in the Florida room. I wish every kitty had a Florida room because I love it! I caught a lizard in there today. Meowmy just said "Oh Jakey..." like she always does. When she came back out, she saw that I threw it up. Ew. I let her clean that up MOL. Meowmy went to Wal-mart today and bought one of those Rubbermaid totes. She got the idea to use a thin clear one as a litter box from the Catster forums! She said " Why didn't I think of that before?!" It's just like a regular litter box and literally cost half as much! Too cool! She has been saying that she wanted to get us a bigger box in the Florida room. Me and and Daphne have been using my baby box when we go out there. When meowmy got me....she got one of the tiny boxes so I wouldn't be so scared. But....I'm a big boy now so we don't need that one anymore. The baby one is just to little fur us and we get litter everywhere. Meowmy swears she is gonna break the vacuum one of these days cleaning up the litter out there. This one is big! It's bigger than our other 2 boxes in the house. We have covered ones that have a sifter inside of it fur inside the house. When meowmy was putting litter in the new box...I jumped right in and layed down. Meowmy uses a plastic cup to put the new litter in the boxes. She went to pour it into the new box and I helped her. I stuck my paws in there to help it come out faster. Then I grabbed the cup from her cuz I can do it all by myself! I was flinging litter everywhere and meowmy was laughing. I got it all over myself too. Of course....I had to use the box right away...even though I had used the inside box right before she brought the new one out. That's just how we are MOL!

Trick or Treat!

I'll take the treat please MOL. Happy Halloween my furrriends! I get to wear my special Halloween shirt today. Meowmy saydsI have to wear it today because it's Halloween...and it's my first one! Plus....since I'm just a kitten she got me the small size and I won't be able to fit into it next year because I'm getting to be a big boy! She put the shirt on me and I got the kitty zoooooomies! I'm just so excited fur the treats!
