Arrival Story:
Hubby and I went to volunteer at the local shelter. We lived in a no-pets apartment, but the moment I picked him up, he was rubbing ALL OVER. We decided to hide him until we could move. It was quite the chore keeping him away from the windows, especially when it started snowing.
Bio:
Captain was an indoor cat, but always had a fascination with the outside. When the weather was nice, we'd hook up a harness and lead and let him explore the back yard, which he loved. He'd go *nuts* when magpies were on the fence. He got out one day (hubby left the glass door open) but I found him on the neighbor's fence, trying to get at the birds.
Unfortunately, he got out again summer 2004 and we never found him. He was microchiped, so I will still hold out some hope.
