Error 4 and comments

Hi kitty beans,

I haven't written in my diary in sooo long. Hey, my Gotcha Day is coming up and I need to start writing in my diary more. I'm going to write more about my gotcha time (the days around my Gotcha Day) - so I'll be back.

But today Gumpy asked me to write about these Error 4 messages that we and others have been getting. This morning a few people paw-mailed and said they couldn't comment in his diary - that's a bummer when he is a DDP. Well, these error messages seem to be related to the new preference option for allowing only members to comment in diaries and photos. Yesterday we switched to this preference and later Gumpy couldn't comment on one of his own photos.

So if you switched to this new option for allowing only members to comment, you and others may end up getting the dreadful Error 4 messages. I guess mostly it's others not being able to comment in your diary and photos? Not sure.

Yup, we have been getting that 'flea' too in some pawlaces & pages...hiss...

But then if it is important we send them a message instead!
Sometimes if you can't post on one page another may still work??Whatevfur!

The sun is so nice today after all that rain we had yesterday...and it was so icy here this am...lots of slideoffs and accidents:(

That error 4 only happens on the new members only comment feature. I bunch of us have already let HQ know. I hope they fix it soon. Have a great Thanksgiving.

This was our problem, too!! We saw the new option and chose it, but "Comments", "Members Only" is not ready yet, but Catster is trying to work out the kinks!! Looking forward to your Gotcha Day!! Luv, Tink & Snow

Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully this flea will be fixed soon. It's so bad when you've written up a comment and then you can't post it. But at least we know what's going on.

Gumpy is getting error 4 again this morning when trying to comment in Alfie's diary. Let's see if this will go through.

Jus' so efuryone know's, dat error 4 message still is happenin' fur some o' our grand furiends. Dey not know's 'bout dat preference thing NOT werkin'. I had to pawmail few furiends 'n let 'em know I couldn't post on their pages coz of it. So, we remain 'open' until Catster cleans up. Twas a good idea, though.

Nadi, Hope Ur Gotcha Day is waaaay spawcial today! Purrs U get lotza goodies 'n treats 'n we'll dance 'n pawty wif U~!
