My day as a five-year old was as good as when I was four!

After breakfast, I raced Mom to the computer like I always do, jumped up on the desk in front of the monitor and rubbed my body all over her face while drooling. She repeatedly told me it was my birthday on and off all day today, even though my hearing is excellent!

Sugar and Spice, the birthday sisters, told me their middle names are "Everything Nice". MOL!

Mom went to Petco today because they're the only ones near us who carry the canned food the dogs eat. Petco is where Dad had seen a couple of kittens that Mercy wrote about in her diary. When Mom stopped by to see them, there weren't just a couple--there were about eight of them, and five of them were out playing while others were sleeping in cages.

Don't look for a new family page because Mom didn't bring one home! She said they were all very cute but no one begged to come home with her. I guess they weren't into the large family scene.

Mom did look around to see if there was anything I/we might like, but she didn't really see anything. There was a window perch made of bamboo she thought we would like but she couldn't figure out which window it would work on, so she didn't get it. We have plenty of toys, but most importantly, each other!

My mom saw that bamboo window perch too! They carry a lot of the bamboo stuff at walmart too, for much cheaper. But i dont think they had the perch there :(
