indoors Arrival Story: Cowboy roamed our neighboorhood and everyone was a bit afraid of him. He was beating up the cats who live here and impregnated a few females. He has chunks of his ears missing, so I guess he's had his fair share of surviving. We have a neighbor who wont fix her cats and lets them run loose and unfortunately most were lost to coyotes. Animal control came and took her cats away and caught the ones they could but Cowboy survived everything. He started coming to my porch so I'd feed him and soon he was trying to get my cats to accept him. They would watch him thru the screen and he would flip over and offer his belly. Bio: I wasn't even considering bring Cowboy into my home. He was aggressive and a feral as far as I knew. He was getting thinner and thinner and soon was barely able to pull himself onto my porch. I knew he'd die if I didn't help him so I simply gathered my courage, picked him up and put him in my bathroom. He was so weak, he didn't resist. He was just skin and bones and so dirty my hands would turn black from touching him. He is now neutured, clean and gaining weight. He LOVES being a house cat which really surprises me. He has never tried to get back outside and has been accepted by my 2 male cats. He is not nearly the aggressive alpha that I thought he'd be. He's a sweetheart and a gentleman.
