I Plays and Plays!!!!!

I loves my new furever home! It's got the funnest things to do! Here's my top five furavorite games!

#1: I loves to chase sisfur Sheba! She doesn't like me much, I doesn't think. Sisfur Sheba is a purty Siamese. Meowmy sez she thinks she's the Queen, and that's why she's named Sheba. I loves to hide behind Purrdaddy's chair when I knows she's comin'. Then I jumps out at her and chases her 'round and 'round the house!!!! She's a big, adult kitty and she runs from ME!!! Little bitty kitten ME!!! Isn't that funny????

#2: My climber is the best! It's not too tall fur a kitten and it has a fuzzy ball on top. The fuzzy ball is on a spring, so when I bats it, it jumps and sways all around. It's FUN!!!!!!!!

#3: Runnin' from Meowmy or Purrdaddy is fun, too! I lets them get almost to me, watch them reach down to pick me up, then...I runs away as fast as I can!! (Humans is big creatures, but they's purty slow!)

#4: We has tall stairs in the foyer. They goes up to sisfur Scarlett's apartment, but I isn't allowed in there...Anyway, I loves to take a ball with a bell inside and carry it to the very top of the stairs. Then I pushes it off and chase it all the way down, step by step by step by step! FUN!!!!!

#5: Ice cube hockey is lots of fun! Meowmy or Purrdaddy puts an ice cube on the kitchen floor and kicks it. Then I gets to bat it and chase it all over the kitchen. 'Til I loses it...somehow ice cubes always disappear! I doesn't know where they goes...'tis a mystery!

So that's some of the funnest things I does in my new furever home. After all that playin', I'm ready to cuddle and take a nap with my Meowmy or my Purrdaddy.

I's HOME!

I's never written a diary before, so I hopes I does good.

My name is Charcoal, but folks call me Coal fur short.

I's just an itty bitty kitten 'bout four weeks old. But I's had lots of excitement in my short life!

I wuz born in south Georgia, and things didn't get off to a very good start. I had two littermates but our mommy-kitty didn't take very good care of us. She didn't seem interested in being a mommy-kitty at all!! We could hardly walk and somehow we ended up in a MUD PUDDLE! It wuz wet and chilly there. I mewed and mewed and had almost given up when...

A nice lady found us! She took us home and dried us off. She fed us milk from a dropper and kept us warm. Sadly, one of my sisfurs went to the Bridge. I misses her. But the other sisfur and I LIVED!!

I still wuzn't happy. My eyes hurt! They burned and itched and I just couldn't keep them open. I couldn't see much when I did open them, so it wuz just easier to keep them closed.

The nice lady wuz worried 'bout us, I could tell. She wanted to keep us both, but she didn't think she could keep me 'cause I wuz 'blind'. Maybe that means I can't see very well...?

I had Angel visitors! Their names wuz Angel Darcy and Angel Dylan. They promised me that they would bring me to their Earth family, and that their home would be MY furever home, too! I wuzn't sure 'bout all this, but they seemed so kind and loving, so I believed them. I would have a furever home!

Then on July 30, the nice lady took me on a long car ride. We met a very kind man and he put me in a cat carrier. I didn't know it then, but this was my PURRDADDY!!!!!

He was so nice to me! He fed me cat treats and gave me cat milk and talked to me a lot. Sometimes we'd stop and he'd take me out of the carrier and cuddle me. We rode a LONG time!!! It wuz a BIG truck!!! It didn't ride so good, either! I bounced and bounced and it wuz noisy.

Finally, we stopped riding and he took me in the house to meet my MEOWMY!! I had a furever home!!!!! YAY!!!!

Today, Meowmy tooked me to my new vet. Her name is Dr. Christy, and she's so nice to me! I didn't like getting shots or having blood drawn, but still...it wuzn't too bad. Not like being in a mud puddle!

Meowmy wuz so 'cited 'cause I doesn't have feline leukemia like brofur Bo, sisfur Seven, and Angel sisfur Darcy. I's healthy!

Dr. Christy sez I had a viral eye infection. But I can see a little!! So I's 'legally' blind but not 100% blind.

I'm such a lucky kitten!! Angel Darcy and Angel Dylan whispered to me that I would love my new furever home, and I do!
