Arrival Story:
I got Liono and his little brother Snarf from an elderly woman who could no longer care for them. She insisted that they both go together. Liono's name at the time was Simba. His father changed it to Liono.
Bio:
Liono is a feisty 9 year old yellow tabby who absolutley LOVES to be situated on someone's lap. He doesn't give anyone much of a choice. Once his mind is made up he pounces and assumes his position on the throne (lap). Another thing he really loves is strings, whether it be a shoe string or a string of yarn. They drive him nuts. He could play for hours with a string. Funny thing about strings is he serenades them when no one is around. If you go to him, he'll stop and meow at you as if to say, "what do you want." Liono also likes the bathroom. We're not sure why, but he's in there every morning as we get ready for work.
Sadly, Liono passed away March 28, 2010 at the age of 14...

Today, I went to the great Rainbow Bridge. It's really a very neat place. My old friend Buddy the Basset Hound greated me and showed me around. Got to see my parents and siblings. I want to thank my family for adopting me and for always loving me. I was a very blessed cat and I couldn't have been happier. Thanks for everything. Snarf, I love you little brother and please don't be sad. We'll meet again someday. Maggie, even though you would never lick my head, I loved you too. Be good to Snarf and the human masters. Take care everyone!
From Liono's humans, we want to say it was a great 10 years and we will miss Liono terribly. We love you big guy....

Happy Birthday to me! I am the big 1-3. Whatever than means. I must admit, I no longer am trying to escape from the masters. They are too good to me. The baby, now 18 months, likes to grab my tail and tackle me. Oh well, I can take it. Meow.

Hope Christmas and New Years was good. My bro and I got some holiday themed toys. Snarf got some mice, which he's already lost. Poor kid. The christmas tree is still up. I waited all year for it to grow back. I spend lots of time beneath it. I tried eating part of it but it tastes fake. Weird. I tried being a good cat and began to open some of the slaves presents but they didn't like that. Last time I do anything nice. The slaves have added an addition to the family. Its small and it cries. Not sure what to make of it. Is it friend or foe?
My hopes at world conquest have been fading. I'm getting old and can't move as fast as I used to. Maybe someone out there can pick up the slack!
