10 months of living with this family... What do I care?

I suppose it's been a little while since I came home in that carrier all squished up with my brother. Under a year, but if you think about it, lots has happened! Meowma scaring us with her cat Halloween costume, getting awesome presents for Christmas, being locked in a small portion of the house for Meowma's birthday, being irritated with screaming on Obama's inauguration, all kinds of things. And our birthday! Golly was that fun! But some cats may like to think... Is all this fun worth it? My, my, why would someone ask? Of course it is. But I myself sometimes think, "What would life be like if I went home with that boy who kept saying 'let's get it!' to every cute cat he saw, or life with that older couple who was looking at that 5-year-old kitty next to us?" But there's 2 mes. One me thinks differently than the other. The me that wasn't thinking those things kept telling the me that was, "Izzy, you've got to stop thinking about all these ifs. Life is life, and besides, you love your family. You wouldn't want to go with anybody else, eh?" I thought about it. Gosh, what do I care? I DO have to stop all these 'if thoughts', life IS life, I DO love my family, and I WOULDN'T want to go with anybody else. Cats learn life lessons, too, you know.
