First year.. I love you!

Dear Diary,

Wow. Yesterday was our 1 year anniversary of living here. I love my family. I absolutely HATED living at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Living in a tiny cage with my sister, with that terrible cold, sneezing, coughing, and runny eyes...... I'm so glad I have a nice, loving home. As Meowma is writing what I am magically transmitting to her brain, I am lying right beside her. I love it here.

Dear Diary,

Meowma is headed on another adventure with Grampaw. Isle Royale this time. Meowma said she will miss me, and I will miss her too. I must admit, it's kinda boring, sitting at home with Izzy and Grameow. Izzy obviously can't dangle toys for me, Grameow won't give me any special noms (treats), and just knowing Meowma's with me is just fantastic. In fact, if I had a choice, perhaps I'd have chosen to go to Grampaw's house to see Meowma for an extra day, then return to Grameow and my sister. Ah, well. At least I love Grameow and Izzy, and besides, staying with them is better than nothing. I'd HATE to go back to the SPCA, cramped up in that little cage, sniffling and sneezing, runny eyes, BLEH! But I know my family wouldn't do that to me, ever!!
